Sorry if this topic has been already addressed on this board. A girl at work insists that her friend got married at Cindy's Castle. Is this true? I have never seen any brides there before.

We have $ riding on the answer!:lmao:

Yes, you can.

Bu it has to be very early morning before park opening.

So perhaps ask something like 'was it in the afternoon', then you arent giving anything away but you can still get the truth!

From what I've heard, you can get married at the castle, but it's at the garden next to the castle. You must do it at 8 am and you may not have more than 50 people in attendance.

Apparently, they used to allow evening weddings at the castle but then Disney stopped all weddings there. Just recently they opened it up again to DFTW but only at 8 am.

It depends on when she was married...

Years ago the Castle was available for weddings. Then they upped the price to $500,000 for a couple of years...and now it's kind of "off the market". You can get married near the Castle now, but not AT the Castle.

Want to know if she's telling the truth...ask her what time her wedding was.

Generally speaking, Castle weddings were very early in the morning or very late at night (before park opening or after park closing).

Uh oh. I'm asking too many questions and she doesn't like that I'm doubting her. She doesn't know what time of the day it was and she is "NOT" going to question the bride about it.

This girl I'm questioning is really Disney-illerate so I don't think she knows what she is talking about. And she's getting mad that I'm questioning her.

We'll have to wait for "official proof", like a picture or something to see who wins.

Thanks for the info!

Perhaps she's seen a picture of a MK photo shoot and has assumed that she got married infront of the castle?

She doesn't remember what time of day she got married?? She should be able to remember if it was morning vs. night.... sounds a bit sketchy to me....:rolleyes1
