Does anyone know where they do "hairwraps" at disney and what the approximate cost is ?
Thanks in advance.:cutie:

I get my DD's hair wraps done on the Boardwalk, but there are wrapping stations in most Disney resorts and I think in every park. The cost is per inch and it depends on the length of the hair and the extra bit of wrap at the end. If you look at my DD's photo her hair ends above the beads, but you pay for the length of the whole wrap, including the beads. Some beads are included but you can pay extra for more. My DD had a little charm added to hers. I think I paid about $30-$35 for hers, but her hair is pretty long. Wraps started at the top of the head are longer than those started behind the ear. My DD is very active and on swim team, so we hers put behind her ear.

ETA: We had this wrap done at the end of December and it's still in place today.

Here's a photo of my DD's hair wrap:

My daughter got hers at the Grand Floridian Beach pool. I think it was $1.50 an inch. She is not very good about keeping barettes or ponytail holders in her hair so I did not want to spend a lot on something I thought she would take out the next day. She is still wearing it two weeks later and loves it! I paid $20(shoulder length hair) for one that started behind the ear and I did make her pick out the cheaper beads since I didn't think she would like it.
Our person was very good about telling us exactly where it would start and end and also how much each bead was contributing to the cost before she even started wrapping my DD's hair.
However, pay attention to the cost of the beads. Some are $4 and $5 each. My DD could have easily spent the $20 in beads alone had I let her.

One year (2003) my DD12 :cutie: got a hair wrap right next to POC (it took 1.5 hrs!:scared1: ) and the next year she had one done at the main pool @ CBR (20 mins.) I forget the price:confused3 , but the hard part was picking out the beads and thread colors (hint: ask the wrappers for their opinion, they know what looks best:thumbsup2 )

Easter @ CSR:banana: can't wait

My DD got her hair wrap on July 15, 2006 and it is still in!! Her hair has grown about 4-5 inches but the wrap still looks pretty decent. It costs about $30 to have done. Had it done at CBR. Didn't take long.

My DD got hers done last week at DTD. In the past she got one at AK. I have also seen them at ASMo, CSR, Epcot and POLY. Sounds like all the resorts have them as well as all the parks. It did cost $1.50 per inch plus the beads. I opted to cut about 2 inches off her hair so that when the beads were added it would all be the same length.

We had our daughter's done right outside of the Pirate's ride in Magic Kingdom. It was $1.50 an inch, but cost more if you add beads and charms. She loved it!

I saw some teenagers getting hair wraps at POR in Dec. They were on the dockside just past the main lobby.
