Where can you/can't you use $100 gift card?

Hi all, we were lucky to get the free $100 gift card with the dining plan when we booked our hol for April, just wondered how anybody who has also had one experienced using it, and do places like rainforest cafe accept it (now they are part of the dining plan) or is it mainly the parks restaurants and shops?

It's a Disney gift card so only Disney owned and operated shops and restaurants will accept it.

Places that won't include outside restaurants such as Rainforest Cafe, T-Rex, Earl of Sandwich, Planet Hollywood, House of Blues. Non-Disney shops such as Ghiradellis.

worth knowing however is you can use it at both the Disney Store and the two Disney Outlets at the Premium Outlets at Vineland Avenue and International Drive. They also accept it at the airport stores.

We were lucky enough to have a $300 card last year from our booking and we got plushes in the Disney Store at the Florida Mall as gifts for our nieces and nephews on a buy one get one free offer, and we got loads of things in the Outlets - Duffy for example was the same price as in the parks but came with three outfits for free.
