Where can we get champagne at BW?

DH and I are staying at BWV for the first time. We will get to the resort at about 11:00 or 11:30 PM. Is there a lounge where we could get a glass of champagne at that hour, or would things be closed by then?

I would suggest you call and find out the hours that the lounge stays open or when you call maybe you could ask them if they could have a bottle of bubbly waiting for you in your room or bring a bottle with you and chill it down ASAP
The champagne idea sounds good to me. Enjoy it!

Thanks. I will call the front desk and see what my options are. Ordering a bottle ahead of time and having it waiting in our room might be the way to go!

I don't think you should arrange to have it in the room upon arrival. Until you are checked in the room that has been blocked for you can be assigned to someone else. Someone else could be enjoying your chilling champagne.

BelleVue Lounge (inside the BWI) is open every night until midnight. Also, the ESPN Club closes at 1:00am during the week and 2:00am on the weekends. Atlantic Dance is also open until 2:00am, but it's closed two nights a week (and I can't remember which). That's what's so great about the BW area - having so many options for nightlife.

safetymom, good point about the room assignments not being official until we check in. I definitely don't want to order a bottle that might end up in someone else's room!

Since the lounge is open until midnight, we will try to go there. I suppose we could get a bottle through room service if the lounge were closed for some reason.

You can also order something from the WDW Florist that will be delivered to your room shortly after check in (note because of the law they technically can't put liquor in your room without you being present and proving age). I had a gift basket sent to me last year through the florist with wine and very nice snacks and Disney Wine glasses - it almost beat me to my room!

How do you contact the WDW florist or arrange for a bottle of bubbly in your room?

This sounds like a great way to kickstart your vacation. Although I get excited enough as it is, staying at a Disney resort and a few little extras are always alot of fun.

I've also heard about Disney magic .... can you get any special treatment for a birthday or anniversary or anything else???

The Disney Florist site is www.disneyflorist.com and you can order directly from them. If you're staying concierge, they will arrange everything for you. If you're celebrating something special, CRO can put a note on your reservation, and you can also tell the reservationist when you make your priority seatings. Once again, if you're staying concierge, they will takie care of all of this for you. You can also get champagne and other alcohol from private dining.
