Where can we dine AND watch fireworks?

Hi!

We are going to be in Disney Dec 27 - Jan 2 and I am in charge of ressies! YIKES!!

Where can we DINE and SEE Fireworks - Hopefully on New Year's Eve?? I know Calif Grill - but only ressie available on 12/31 for 10 ppl!! is at 8pm - we would get to see Holiday in the Sky at 8:30pm - but NOT Fantasy in the Sky at 11:55.

We are open to Epcot dining -but it has been so long since we've been to WDW (2002!!) I have not idea if there are any places there "with a view" of the show?

HELP!

California Grill isn't a regular reservation -that is why the only time available is 8. They usually have a special event in the restaurant on NYE that costs around $400 per person, and yes, they get to see both fireworks shows (for your party of 10 that's about $4,000). Ohana will be a good deal cheaper if you can get a good time...but the good times for Ohana fill up fast. You should start looking at the online reservations now.

The only other fireworks view restaurants are at Epcot (Rose & Crown and Hacienda de San Angel - which isn't taking reservations yet)

We watched holiday Wishes at Ohana on NYE 2007. We were there for an earlier dinner, not at midnight.

For MK fireworks, California Grill, Narcoossee's, or Ohana all have great views, (although I Prefer CG or Narcoossee's over Ohana's). If you can't get a good ADR time, eat and then go down to the beach at the resort to see the fireworks.

If you want to watch the Epcot fireworks, get a outside table at Rose and Crown.

Could always book something like the Grand 1 Yacht with food service (not sure what food is available, though) but that would be quite $$$

2) Epcot Fireworks While Eating
. . . Rose & Crown - from pati table is good // patio standing is good
. . . Tokyo Dining - from table has limted seats // deck is good
