Where can I meet the Beast?

We are planning to go to Disney and my husband asked me what character I want my picture taken with the most. After thinking about it , I realized that I had never met the Beast. I have several pictures with Mickey, Minnie and Tigger from previous vacations . So, my goal this year is to get one with the Beast. Does anyone know where he is located to get pictures taken with? Thanks for the help!

I think that we saw him in France in Epcot with Belle.

There is a character "hotline" that I read about. If you ask a CM, they can call and find a character for you.

Definitely France at Epcot! Beast makes frequent appearances, but there are some days when he's not out at all. He most often appears in the back of France by the water in the "garden" area, often sort of close to a large gate (where the characters come and go from backstage). He can also be inside a little room off the gift shop in France, if the weather is bad. You can always ask at Guest Services, as they could know his schedule (though sometimes they don't know anything and will just tell you he isn't out at all).

If he is out, he would be in-and-out through the afternoon, maybe out 20 minutes, then gone for 40 minutes, then out again, etc. He usually meets with Belle, but it's possible to find him alone, too!

Yup, we saw him in France down by the water. At first it was just Belle, but my DD asked where Beast was and out he came! LOL It was our first meeting w/ Beast.

I'm told that his is the ONLY costume that has air conditioning in it! LOL

We had the best Belle and Beast in Jan 08! We had to wait in line for quite a while (with the possibility that they might be leaving), but we were one of the very last ones to make it in! Belle was so sweet to my girls and chatty and Beast was a riot! He stole my dds' autograph books and put their pens in his mouth. Belle was teasing him and scolding him and telling my girls he was naughty. My girls thought he was so funny and not at all scary. It was great! I wish all the characters got into their roles like that.

Epcot - France. I agree to the fullest.

The beast I met was... intimidating. He hugged me. And uh.. wouldn't let go. But it was exciting to see the Beast! I had never seen the Beast (other than the play at HS). We (myself and a family behind me) were told that they were going but would be back in 10 minutes or so. We waited for the short time and were first in that line to meet him. We then got to run over and meet Aladdin and Jasmine

Saw them in France. But I would ask a CM what times cause when I was there the line was so long I didn't get my Pic. . They r my favorite.
