I would love to have a recording of the Wishes music. Is it available on a CD? Does anyone have it online? I'd also like to get the Illuminations and Spectro music. Are they out there somewhere? I have the Happiest Celebration on earth CD's, but none of this stuff is on there :(. Thanks for your help!

You can get cd's for all of those. Call the Disney merchandising number to order. I'll see if I can find the number.

Believe it not, it'll be cheaper to order from Disney Merchandising. I've seen the Wishes CD at some on-line stores for double what they sell for at WDW and it always seems to go for quite a bit more on ebay too for some reason.

Sorry I don't have the WDW merchandise # handy either.

Do they sell the CD in the parks too? I haven't seen Wishes yet - but I will have in a week's time  Everyone raves about it, so I'm sure I'll want to buy the CD.

Just so you know: there is only about 20 minutes of music on the CD. The music played during the fireworks, the song they play afterwards, and the same in a sing-along version.

Yes. The Wishes CD and other park-music CDs are available at many, many shops throughout all of WDW, the parks, resorts and DTD.

When I got it last December, it was real hard to find the original one. Maybe everyone was buying it for Christmas gifts. There are 2 CDs that claim to be "Wishes". You want the one with the black backround and Jiminy Cricket on it. I looked all over, the Emporium, MGM, DTD, everywhere was sold out except the gift shop at the resort, BC. The Illuminations CD seemed easier to get, I got it at the IG shop.

I ordered Wishes from Relive the Magic a few weeks ago, (which I wouldn't reccomend buying from, their shipping is slow, and way over-priced, $12 for shipping three cds, and I'm still waiting for Wishes three-plus weeks later. It's also over-priced, but I had a 50% off my order code, (which I got from a problem with an earlier order,) that I used to buy a binch of cds,) but I agree with this post, that the park cds are really short in length. Though I believe, that it's worth more to me about what's on them then how long they run. I think Spectro Magic may be the shortest running time with 14 minutes and however many seconds. If you want to know excatly how long the cds run, I can post them here. I have Wishes, (ordered,) Spectro Magic, Fantasmic, Holiday Wishes, Magic in the Streets, Cinderellabration, Festival of the Lion King, and the 2-Disc WDW Happiest Celebration on Earth Album. Also, and this is OT, (most of this post is,) but is there a soundtrack available to Cinderella's Suprise Celebration, I want to get that, as well as Illuminations.

disneyfav4ever: You can download Illuminations from the park audio link I provided a few posts ago. Of course, it's not as cool as having the actual CD's but the quailty is good and it'll hold you over until you can pick up the CD's. :thumbsup2

I bought Illuminations (great cd - includes music from Tapestry of Dreams and Tapestry of Nations), Wishes, and SpectroMagic at the Wilderness Lodge Mercantile. I debated a long time about buying the Spectro and Wishes cds, as they were something like $12.99 each for about 15 minutes worth of music apiece, but I am SO glad I did. Really puts me right back in the MK when I listen to them, and the kids love the music as well. PM me if you need the UPCs to order from Disney.

I love listening to these during my 20 minute morning drive to work.

Cool -- thanks for all the info! I downloaded them from that link above and I'll probably pick up the real CD's on my next trip. I can't believe I didn't notice these CD's on my last trip! Thanks!!

I can't remember where I bought it, but it has been worth EVERY penny I paid for it. (Especially since DH refuses to go to WDW while the baby is young) :furious: :sad1:

I got the fiftieth anniversary CD @ Borders...it is fabulous, too!

I purchased the CD on Ebay. It was brand new, factory sealed and I think I payed around $12. for the CD and shipping combined. The seller also sent a homemade DVD of the fireworks show. You know it was not a professional video but it is great and I was thrilled with that.

I know sometimes you don't get what you think you will on Ebay. Just read up on seller and make sure the CD is new and factory sealed.

I did notice them, and bought Cinderellabration, Festival of the Lion King, and Magic in the Streets, and didn't think I needed the rest. Of course, then I started getting "homesick," and spent way to much on the Happiest Celebration on Earth soundtrack, since the only one I can get locally is the one disc, and I just had to get the two disc that is only available at Disney, then I just needed Spectro Magic, Fantasmic, and Wishes, and I threw in Holiday Wishes for good measure. Maybe I can hold off for another 52 days to actually buy Illuminations. I have to go download it now.

Oh I agree! And I wasn't disappointed. I just didn't want people to expect more than they were going to get.
