My DD15 needs to be reregistered into 10th grade & I need to get the papers notarized. My bank is in another town, so I would prefer another option. Anybody know any?
TIA!

Check your local municipality...the Clerk's office usually :)

Any bank should have a notary-it doesn't have to be yours.Just make sure you do any signatures in front of them-not prior to arriving

Any lawyers office should have a notary as well. Have any friends who work in one?

Some of the pack and ship places around here have them. I know the UPS store here does.

The local AAA office has one as well.

I'm not sure about your state, but PA used to have notaries at the storefronts where you bought your autotags. --I guess the Motor Vehicles place would have one.

Banks, and if you belong to a Credit Union, then they usually have one or two notaries there.

The secretary where I work is a notary, as well as the secretary at DH's job-you may find a lot of notaries in large companies. Maybe also at doctor's offices-the nurse may need to have a notarized permission to treat form.

You could also try your local library. At my library, the reference staff are all notaries and offer a notary service.

A secretary that you know would be a good bet. I know my dh's always is.

I was a secretary for many years, and I wasn't a notary.

a lot of times a local college or nursing home will have one.

As mentioned, shipping and packing places often have notaries. Our local Mail Boxes Etc. has one.

Almost all hospitals have notaries as well, and you often don't need to be a patient to use their services.

Someone at your work might be a notary. I needed one a couple of years ago and was surprised when I sent out an email asking if anyone was a notary and had 4 people offering to help me.:) I didn't think I'd find one at all.:p

Look in the phone book yellow pages, under notary public, they will have listings call first to be sure they are available. I'm a notary but in CA, sorry I can't help, UPS stores another option.

Good luck
