Where Can I Get POLY Shower Products?

Between airport security limiting carryons and an exploding shampoo bottle in my luggage on my last trip (never been so happy for a ziploc bag before in my life), I would love to just use the hotels products and not pack mine.

I'm a simple, no frills girl and my hair is mainly straight so I don't require a collection of hair products. Still, I know some shampoos do funny things even to the straightest hair. I would love to sample the products before I go and make sure they will work for me. Does anyone know where I can buy some?

The shampoo and conditioner are super and smell great. I purchased some online after I got home from the above website!

Does anyone know if they use the new products at all the resorts now? I usually drag my own products with me as the previous pink stuff Disney provided tears my hair UP. :scared: The new stuff sounds like a definite improvement!

Those were the products we got at AKL. We got shampoo, conditioner, lotion and bar soap (2 bars, bath and facial).

They sold these products in the gift shop, too.

Which scent is used at the resorts? Is it just the basic "milk"? :confused3

At CBR it was shampoo and conditioner combined which doesn't cut it with my hair. I used it for the kids and DH thought it was fine but I used the separates that I brought.

It's the Aquatics line and I like these products very much.
They are much more high end than what Disney resorts used to provide.
The conditioner is lightweight though and if you have thick or dry hair you may need something more.

OMG!

I absolutely love these products. I actually have tons because at every stay I made sure to take several back home with me. :rolleyes1

I've ordered from h2oplus twice now to replenish between trips. I've also tried the antibacterial hand soap, the body scrubbing lotion, the hand creme, the eye cream, etc. (I got a little carried away). Loved all of it.

By the way, my daughter has extremely curly and dry hair and I usually have to use products with lanolin in them to keep it under control but I was able to use these with no problem (I left her stuff at home). Even the 1/2 hour comb out wasn't as bad as I feared.

I'll just add to the raves about the H20+ toiletries. I have very fine, straight hair that gets to looking *really* bad (think limp & stringy) in the Florida heat and humidity, and when you add in the daily exposure to pool chemicals, I generally appreciate my hat for more than just the sun protection. The old Disney stuff was so bad that was planning on bringing a bottle of my own brand, but I forgot so I had to try the new brand they provided.

I love the stuff. I got home Thursday and ordered a bottle of their shampoo from their website on Friday. It is a vast improvement that shampoo and conditioner are seperate products rather than an all-in-one, and the scent is light and pretty without being too heavy or feminine (and without attracting bugs, as far as I could tell). But best of all, it left my hair soft and smooth without the greasy-by-dinnertime look that I get from using most conditioners in hot, humid weather.

If anyone has an "Ulta" beauty supply store near them, they are selling the H2O products there. For those Long Islanders near Patchogue, the Ulta store off of Sunrise Highway has them.

The Ulta near me has tons of H2O products but they don't carry any hair care stuff. I was so disappointed :( I became addicted to them on our last trip. The Aquatics line is great (what they had at the Poly) but the Sea Marine products (which they had on the Disney Cruise Line) was even better for me! It's the best I've ever used and I have very picky hair. Mine is oily at the root and dry at the ends. In the Florida weather I usually looked like someone had poured grease on my head (descriptive enough?? :rotfl2: ) but the H2O products changed all that!! It was soft without being weighed down.

And if I have to I'll take another Disney vacation just to prove it :cool1:

I went to an H20+ store today and they are actually advertising the fact that their Aquatic Natural Spring fragrance is what is used at Walt Disney World. They have a cute little display card that shows the shampoo and conditioner with a little bubble in the shape of Mickey's head. The ad says something along the lines of "as seen at Walt Disney World Resorts".
There is a sale going on right now where you can mix and match 3 items of any scent or product in the Aquatics line for $18.00. I picked up a bottle of hand and nail lotion, body balm and shower gel in the Natural Spring fragrance. Seperately, it would have cost me $35.00 so it's a great deal and I LOVE the smell! :goodvibes

I can't wait to try these new products. Just one more thing to look forward to! :cool1:

That's me in a nutshell! :thumbsup2 I'm glad the new haircare products worked for your daughter.
