Where can I get a deal on Disney tickets?

We're leaving on Thursday (11/22).

I live in New York - are any of the local Disney stores offering promos on tickets?

Or should I purchase the tixs down in Orlando? At the parks or some place else?

It depends on what kind of tickets you are looking for. It's a bit late to have any of the places mail the tickets to you - but alot of places in Orlando will do a hotel delivery or you can go to their offices and pick them up.

when you compare places, make sure you pay attention to taxes - some quote with tax and some without.
