I have such a hard time finding shoes for my 17 year old DD. Size 10 shoes are too short and size 11 are too big. Does anyone know of a shoe store or brand that sells Women's shoes in a 10 1/2?

I am a similar size and I usually order my shoes from shoes.com. If you look at retail me not or a similar site they always have discount codes and they ship for free. It usually takes about a week or less to get them in the mail sent UPS.

Good luck!

Zappos.com is my choice for my hard to fit feet. (I am a wide shoe)

They let you search by size- and 10.5 has a bunch of different styles.

I like to order from shoebuy.com. Return policy is very easy. But if you want to try them on, Nordstrom's and Nordstrom's Off the Rack are the way to go.

As a big footed woman :thumbsup2 I have to say that in regular stores I don't think I've ever seen a 10.5, I am an 11 now but it seems like once you get past the single digits they don't offer the .5 anymore...and isn't that crazy!!! They have a .5 for every other size but not for 10, 11 or 12.

I'd look online, although I hate doing that because I like to try the shoe on first and actually see it.

I'm a size 11/11.5 so I feel your pain. I was actually in Macy's Herald Sq store in NYC this weekend (one of the few Macy's that actually have a good selection of large size shoes!!!) and I noticed alot of 10.5's from Nine West. I walked away with Coach sandals in size 11 marked down from 140 to under 50bucks!

I also have good luck at DSW.com (the store by me is awful), Nordstrom/nordstrom.com (their brass plum jrs line is pretty affordable), and zappos.com. Shoemall.com and shoebuy.com have been lucky for me this summer and they usually have a web coupon. I've also snagged some higher end shoes from Bluefly.com

To the poster above 11.5 actually does exist!!! But only if you go to the likes of Stuart Weitzman, Taryn Rose, Christian Louboutin, and Manolos....lol. Then again, this is the budget board and I've had to buy my Weitzman's at Bluefly.com on clearance!

I was going to say that I have seen .5's at Nine West and most of my nice shoes do come from Nine West.

Thanks NJGirl for the tip, I haven't even looked at those places or online for them as I thought they would NEVER carry large sizes like that :cloud9:

From another Mom who has a hard time finding shoes for a DD - THANKS! My DD is 12 (!) and wears a 10W now - she's been in flip-flops all summer - so I'm thinking a 10.5 as soon as school starts. I'll be sure to make a note of those sites!

Also, if anyone needs sneakers, the Nike factory/outlet stores always seem to have 10.5's and 11.5's as well as just the stadard 10, 11, 12.

I've been a size 11 since 7th grade, so I'm happy to help. I remember having such a hard time at that age finding cool shoes in my size!

In the same size. I can normally find 10.5 wide at shoe station. Good luck!!

THIS IS ONE OF MY BIGGEST PET PEEVES!

I have a few pairs of Privio shoes by Clarks in a 10 that run pretty big.

Nordstrom for the dressier shoes. It's pretty much a guarentee that they'll have something. For sneakers, I order Amazon, or wear converse--then I can just buy the mens.

I'm an 11 1/2. So it's always a challenge. I actually find sometimes the 12 aren't that much bigger, so if I can get the 12 I do.

My DD14 wears a 10 and I'm not sure she's finished growing. I have found shoes for her at DSW and on-line at 6pm.com, zappos, onlineshoes.com, shoebuy.com
The other day she found a pair of Coach sneakers at TJMaxx - for $10!!

Anther vote for Zappos and shoesdot

both are easy to shop and easy returns. I should add I sometimes can find shoes at Payless! They have a lot of larger sizes and wides too.
I feel for your daughter I have huge feet and wide...ugh

If you are looking for tennis shoes I typically find it easier to find my size in mens shoes. I wear 9.5 to 10 which is about an 8 to 8.5 in mens.

I also always wear mens tennis shoes. I wear 10.5 in womens. Wide is too wide and regular is too narrow, but the mens fit great.

For sandles/dress/casual shoes try shoe carnival. They usually have a big stock of 10.5 and if they don't have one in stock, they will have another store with the correct size ship it is to them. Very convenient, and they don't charge to have it shipped to them.

Pay Less has women's sizes up to a 13. You can order on line & return to a local store if they don't fit.

Its so hard to find shoes! Im a 11 and DD16 is 12.5. She gets a lot of her athletic shoes in mens. dress shoes are another story. Why do "they" think that a woman with larger feet only wear white or black orthopedic/diabetic shoes? She did find dress shoes at Maurices in her size. thy are her favorite 4inch stilletos. By the way she is 5'10.

Try www.6pm.com I have ordered numerous times from them.. great customer service and fast shipping! :cool1:
