I am confused now by all the talk of the new rules. We were planning on sharing meals so we could try more resturants. I don't understand what it matters if DH and I order 2 seperate meals at one resturant, or 1 meal to share at one place and another meal to share at another place. We aren't eating any more food, it's not cheating the system. I don't understand. Also, you can't share with others not on the dining plan? We were planning on treated my parents 2 times, I guess I'll have to rethink that. They can't afford to eat out AND go to WDW :rotfl: so I guess non of us will go now. I need to see that brochure! Thanks.

What you're suggesting is not what they're trying to stop people from doing. You might be prevented from doing so, though, as a side-effect of a possible, overly-draconian effort to get people to comply with the rules themselves. Seems unlikely though.

This one is murkier. The brochure says clearly that it's non-transferable, and that the credits are intended for your party, the folks registered to stay with you in your hotel room.

Not murky at all. The brochure clearly states the credits are non-transferable - and I believe it always has. What is murky is whether an individual CM will let you get away with it - because we all know policy and enforcement of policy are two different things.
