I checked in target today and didn't see any. It was suggested by others on this site to get one to save $$ on bottled water. Thanks for your help!

Walmart in the plumbing (home improvement) section. I have also heard that they are at Kmart...but I have never seen them at Target.

I got mine at Walmart as well. In the plumbing hardware section like Canwegosoon mentioned. Why they can't be with the bottled water I will never know. Kmart has them, I don't think Target has them... I also have not seem them at Bed, Bath, & Beyond.

Also try a pharmacy. I bought mine at CVS. The NC Wall-Mart's, Targets and K-Marts do not stock it.

Our Kohl's has them and I believe you can also get them online at kohls.com.

Target and Wallmart are the places here in NJ...

....maybe its just a seasonal item for them??

I'd keep tryin after the holidays.

Oops! I meant Walgreens.

Hope you don't mind me putting my two cents worth here. I took a Britta water bottle with us last year and used it one day. I got tired of carrying it around. It weighed down my backpack when it was full and wasn't easy to drink out of.

If I remember, I think I paid around $8 to $12 for it at Wal-Mart and it came with a filter that lasts a long time.

The water in the parks wasn't that bad. Any water that you drink away from home usually has a different taste. I feel that the bad taste thing has gotten blown out of proportion.

I bought a bottle of water at the parks a couple of times and just kept refilling those. The bottled water in the parks was $1.50 I believe.

They are not heavy when empty, though, right? I almost always just drink water when eating out, so I was thinking of getting one to pour ice water in when at a counter service. I would probably carry it around empty the rest of the time. Is it just not worth it? I had read the bottled water is 2.50, so I would be more apt to buy a Sprite for cheaper, and I tire of those quickly.

No, not really heavy when they are empty. I don't remember paying that much for water but I may have. I really don't remember drinking that much water when I went. I had iced tea with meals. Mickey bars were my choice when I needed to cool off. And there were always plenty of water fountains available. Any water bottle will do if you are just wanting to fill it up at counters.

Got ours at CVS- :flower1:

also saw them at Bed,Bath & Beyond-

Found that we tended to use it more in the hotel room rather
than carrying them around everyday!!! :cool1:

I just bought 5 of them at our Walmart near the bathroom faucets/showerheads, etc. They were about $6.50-$6.80 and the replacement filters were about $5.50. The one's I got are just a normal sports type water bottle with a pull-up top. They wouldn't be any heavier then a normal refillable water bottle. The label on the filter said the filters are good for 15 gallons of water, which would be plenty of refills for that size bottle. I read on another post that these water bottles have been discontinued according to the Brita website so if you see them, buy them. I plan to get a waterbottle lanyard for ours or getting fanny packs that have a place to carry the waterbottles.

I'm lost. What are Brita water bottles?

MarkLem, it's a sports water bottle with water filter to reduce 'flavour' (due to contaminants) from your tap water. I personally think it's overrated. Brita also think it's function is overrated, hence the discontinuation in North America.

The Brita Fill & Go Bottle is a sports bottle with a Brita water filter in the lid.

Many people think that the water in WDW has a strong sulphurous taste and the Brita bottles do a good job of filtering it out. They're an inexpensive alternative to purchasing bottled water in the parks.

It's been discontinued in North America. They still do have a lot of stock in the warehouse, though. Just be forewarned that the filter, soon enough, will be impossible to be found -- moreso than the water bottle.

Its Australian subsidiary still manufacture the bottle and the filter.

We ordered our Brita Fill and Go bottles from CleanWorld.Biz back in Nov., but I see now they are temporarily out of stock. We used the Brita Fill and Go water bottles on our recent trip. I was satisfied with them and disappointed Brita is discontinuing them. I just noticed on the CleanWorld.Biz site, they now have Culligan personal water bottles and filters to replace the Brita Fill and Go bottles.

I dislike the taste of the water in the WDW resorts and on the Disney cruise, so these Brita bottles sure came in handy. I always felt I wasn't drinking enough water on our previous WDW trips due to the taste of the water in the resorts. I did find the water in the parks' water fountains to be pretty good too, if you wanted to stock up on water there, but that's sort of a pain.

Brita bottles do get pretty heavy when full. They are larger than normal size water bottles, but you can carry them around empty and you don't have to feel like you're wasting water if you dump the water out, since the water is only filtered as you drink it. Could I have gotten along without the Brita bottles? Yes, but I like them enough to want to purchase more filters for them to use on our upcoming trip.

*eidted to say waterfilters.net has the Culligan sport water bottles in the smaller size also. I'm kind of sorry I already ordered the bigger bottle from Cleanworld*

I bought three Brita bottles at Wal Mart in the section where they sell water purifiers for your kitchen sink. I paid about 9.00 apiece for them, but drink alot of water so believe they will be worth it. I bought caniber (sp?) clips and a pkg of multi-purpose ties like construction people use. I put a tie around the neck of the bottle and then through the key chain part of the caniber clip then locked the tie tightly around the bottle neck. The bottle now clips easily and securely to a backpack or fanny pack strap using the caniber clip. I'm using the same set up (caniber clip and locking tie) around my Pal Mickey's neck to carry him around, since people say his pager style clip makes him difficult to keep on.

I've also saw the Brita water bottles at Target and at Home Depot (again with the water purifiers).

If anyone needs laundry detergent, I found the cutest little bottle of 'Liquid Tide to Go', enough for 4 loads, with a measuring scoop that snaps on to the top--only .99 in Target's travel section. I've heard the laundry tablets have been discontinued.
