Odd question I know - my FIL collects shot glasses to display behind his bar. I think I remember seeing some shot glasses somewhere at WDW, but can't think of where. Can anyone help me out?

At every store .

Most have them in one shape or form. After ride stores have them theamed to the ride.

DTD at the housewears store has a good selection as well.

Not an odd ? at all many people collect them I have even picked up a few for some of my co-workers

I thought they were called toothpick holders in the Magic Kingdom.

Last year I got a nice set in the coffee shop at MGM. I think they were about 20 bucks and it had one for each park. Of course, nobody ever gets to use them, display purposes only. Plastic cups are for drinking with. :thumbsup2

I've always stocked up at the Disney World stores at Downtown Disney in California. I got every Pirate glass I could find! :thumbsup2
I haven't made it to the "Pirate" level on the POC shot glass yet ;) But with sheer determination I will get there! :thumbsup2

Can I ask for a pic of that pirate's glass? :rotfl:

How's that?

I've made it as far as "Deckhand"! ;)

I need to find one of those next time I go on vacation. I doubt I'd make it to pirate level either.

Although if I had a bottle of Bailey's I'd like to try. :thumbsup2

Disney won't call or list per se glasses as shot glasses but as tooth pick holders. Guess it's to not promote drinking or something, even asking for them in stores by shot glasses might not get you an answer, use the toothpick glass next time, Disney has them for just about everything and they are nice collectibles.

Thanks. I didn't even think of them being incognito as toothpick holders. Hysterical. At least I know I'm not crazy. They are there and I can get one for my FIL (that pirate one is tempting) A friend said I was out of my mind and Disney didn't sell shot glasses. :rotfl: I guess she's technically right if they call them toothpick holders......

That makes sense, at least in the Magic Kingdom where there is no alcohol served, I believe.

A few years ago I got the idea that I wanted a shot glass, excuse me, toothpick holder :) from each country represented at Epcot. I ended up with about 18 of them (@ $4 a piece). My suggestion is that if you know your FIL's family history, try getting some "native" shot glasses for him from Epcot.
