Where can I find Pocahontas?

We were at WDW for a week earlier this month and managed to miss Pocahontas, as she seemingly only appears at AK and we didn't know this until after we had already spent our day there. In any event, we will be at DL in June and DD will not stop talking about Pocahontas, so I really hope we can find her there.

Anyone know the best place to find her at DL or DCA?

When we were at DL Dec. '05 we seen her walking around Frontierland. I don't know if that is where she hangs out but that is where we saw her walking. I would think there or Tom Sawyer Island though. We are going in 6 days I'll keep an eye out for her and post if and where I see her.

We also met her in Frontierland... but almost missed her 'cause she somehow blended in with the surroundings. All that brown clothing of hers. I dunno.

We were there in May and found her at Frontierland, wandering near the Golden Horseshoe. We also found that that particular Pocohontas was also playing Jasmine (discovered this when we got the pics back). So if you see Jasmine you may not find Pocohontas at the same time!!!!!!! She was the most gracious and beautiful character we had seen! But I have heard she is also elusive...Good Luck!

Yup! Frontierland is the place. We saw her there in August '06. Dd was thrilled, as we didn't see her summer '05, and Dd really wanted her autograph.

Does anyone know if she will still be there, now that they have the infamous "Princess Fantasy Faire"?

I don't know if she's still at Frontierland now (did not see her yesterday), but she was at PFF about two weeks ago. We're trying to track down Meko now.

Speaking of characters, is there a thread about which characters are commonly at DL and DCA parks? Also, where are the best spots for finding characters without terribly long lines?

When we were there in October 2006 she is at the Princess Faire, briefly, but she was there.

We too saw her at PFF - that was the first time we ever saw her - you do have to stand in line there - and time it right - the CM's at the PFF were very helpful to us to figure out the timing - usually the princesses there when you get in line, are not the ones when you get to the front of the line..

Unfortunately the particualr Pocahontas that ssc7 met is now at Hong Kong DL. Too bad--she was really sweet and was awesome at the Chicken Dance. I met her at a club seeing Kirk Wall (aka Billy Elvis) at his Elvis show there along with one of the Captain Jacks (out of costume obviously) and had to take a pic of them with Kirk because her camera wasn't working. Luckily she was at DL the next week and I was able to give her copies of the pic.
