Thanks for the link. It looks fun. Any idea how much a made-to-order rice krispie treat is? Or the made-to order-pretzel sticks? I thought these might be good souvenirs to bring home for grandparents, etc. and I need to budget.

I want to say the rice krispies are around $5 and the pretzels about the same (we have never done the pretzels). They also have big "oreo" type cookies and caramel apples that can be customized as well!

I think your guess may be a little bit high. I'm not completely sure, but I think the Rice Krispies Treats may cost closer to $3.50 or $4, and the candy apples range to around $5.50 or $6.

You might be thinking of the pre-packaged rice krispie treats (those are $3.50). But the do it yourself kind are definitely more. Ditto for the caramel apples- I think the customized ones were at least $8 or $9.

I stand corrected. I can't believe how much the prices have gone up in such a short time! Maybe I shouldn't be surprised, but I have a pretty clear memory of buying the do-it-yourself pretzel rods for around $4 not that long ago. Thanks for the accurate information!

You are absolutely right! A couple years ago most of that stuff was around $4 and could be used as a snack credit. It blows my mind how expensive some of it is now!

Thank you Cinderumbrealla. That is exactly what I wanted. I'm going to get about 6 of the rice krispy treats to take home for family. The only think I'm concerned about now is fitting those boxes into my carry on! Maybe they can package several in one box? Hmmmm....

The prices have definitely gone up... A LOT!

I was shocked when I went to pay for my order in December. The previous year (and many years before) cost me probably half as much for 2 orders of pretzel rods & rice krispy treats.
