Where can I exchange my AP voucher?

Can anyone confirm for me the places I can turn in my AP voucher for the actual pass?

Also, does anyone know if we can use an AP voucher when checking into our hotel, which we booked with an AP rate? Or do we need an activated pass?

If we need to turn in the voucher before checking into our hotel, I am hoping for some suggestions on the easiest place to turn it in. I read that it can be turned in at Downtown Disney. Is this true? Or, do the parks or TTC have a drive up area where someone can jump out to activate a pass quickly?

Any help would be great.

You should be able to check in with the voucher. You can activate your passes at any theme park, at the guest servies window outside any park entrance. You can also activate them at Downtown Disney guest services (Marketplace and West Side).

I was told that the voucher would work for checking in. Will find out on thurs. I will be going over to Epcot in the afternoon to pick up the DDE letter, I just ordered it yesterday. I'll activate my voucher then.

You will be able to check in with the voucher. If you are even asked for any confirmation of an Annual Pass. Been booking like this for years and never have had to show a pass although I'm always prepared with mine.

There are no quick "jump outs" to activate the pass. Each park's Guest Relations are the place you want. There is one at Downtown Disney as well. My favorite spot to activate any pass or with any admission question is the International Gateway entrance at Epcot. There is almost never any other guests there and the Cast Members really know their stuff. They can do anything the main Epcot Guest Relations can do. I've also used MGM and Animal Kingdom Guest Relations without problems. I have had long lines at the Magic Kingdom, though.

Also, bear in mind that each person with an AP voucher needs to present a valid photo ID if an adult. So I couldn't activate my husband's voucher unless I had his driver's license with me. That's how everything is tracked in the system.
