Where can I buy this?

I bought my dress online, on ebay, so, I'm not working with a bridal shop. I'll try to describe what I am wanting.. This is the back of my gown:

I want a new ribbon that laces up the back. I want it in a different color than the one that came with the dress. It is about 1 inch wide. Where can I get one of those, or can I just go and buy basic satin ribbon in the color that I am wanting and use that??? Ideas, opinions????

You don't need to go to a bridal shop to get a ribbon. If they even had one that you wanted, you would have to pay an arm and a leg for it. The back of the gown in beautiful. I would go to Michael's or another craft store and pick out a roll of a nice satin ribbon. Good luck!

I think I have found a plan! I went to walmart this evening just to poke around and found some material in the exact color that I wanted the ribbon in. It was on clearance. I am going to try to sew it and make what I am wanting. I would like for it to be thin in the lace up part and then be wider and drape down the back of the dress (you know how some of the sashes on the dresses do??). The dress is very plain in the back and I think that will jazz it up a little bit. If that doesn't work, I'm going with the ribbon.
