Where can I buy laundry tablets?

I always get them for our Hilton Head trips. It is so much easier than taking a bottle of detergant. I looked at 4 different stores today & couldn't find them. Anyone seen them lately?

There was a thread on the budget board a while ago and some people claimed they were being phased out of production because they weren't very popular.
If you do find some, you may want to stock up.

I looked for them for months before our Disney Cruise and could not find any in any of the stores around here. We ended up packing a small box of powder.

I bought some at the local grocery store in March. Purex brand. Good luck finding them.

My mom and I went searching for them one trip and never found them for that trip. 2 months later they were back in the grocery stores. Keep trying.

I found them in February in Walmart here near the "travel size" toiletries. Hope you find them. I can't remember what kind they were???

I couldnt find them either before our trip in may. I ended up putting the measured amounts in sandwich bags. I just prayed that I wouldnt get pulled over on I-95 for what they looked like!!!

I have seen purex tabs in our local supermarket recently. They are great for sending to college or for on vacation. I hope they aren't getting rid of them!

We used them last year (SURF) for our Hilton Head trip and I loved them. I wnatd to get a box for our cruise and WDW trip coming up, but I can't find them anywhere!!

I am going to buy a few individual boxes at the local laundry mat to take along instead. Much cheaper in a small town than at WDW.

Purex still makes laundry tablets. I saw some at Shaws supermarket two weeks ago.

I got mine at Target, but it was about two years ago because it was for our last WDW trip. Then again, Target is notorious for discontinuing things that I'm glad they sell.

Yes, that's where I got mine too. I believe they were WISK brand - although I wasn't too fussy on the brand. If my memory serves me correctly - they were about $2.00for enough tablets for 6 loads of clothes.
