I feel the same way. We go every year around August and get the "regulars". Not that I am complaining, however, when we went about 5 years ago in October we saw a lot more "other" characters. I have noticed by reading this board that a lot of rare characters seem to come out during spring and fall.

I have seen several of these. I have pictures with Merlin, Terk, Wendell, Mary Poppins, Brer Rabbit, and the 7 Dwarves. My rare characters are the ones from Cinderellabration and Kronk.

Yes, Thumper is VERY rare (I wish they would bring him back out).

We have very old home movie footage of me at age 3 in 1972 dancing with one of the 3 pigs in front of the castle! I haven't watched it in years but your pics reminded me of that!

Yes, Thumper is VERY rare (I wish they would bring him back out).

A way we could make an effort to bring them back out is to send a letter or email (mostly letter) to Disney. Even if you already have seen them before, it would grant many wishes to us character fans!

Is that third character in the first photo Scrooge McDuck? We saw him last week at the Christmas Party. He was signing autographs in the tree lot near Toon Town. We thought it was Donald until we got close enough to see good.

That's actually my picture, though oddly enough it's been flipped. Where did you find it? Here's the real non-flipped version:

As far as the characters whose pictures you've posted, I've gotten photos of Prince Eric (a long time ago at MGM Studios), Kermit and Piggy (MGM during 100 Years of Magic Celebration), Wendell (a couple of times in the past few years at MK) Terk (at AK), Herc and Meg (2002-2003 era), Fairy Godmother (just this year at EPCOT!), Roger Rabbit (the same night I met Prince Eric at the same location), Brer Rabbit (AK in 2002), the Cinderellabration couples (last Christmas... awesome memories) and of course Marian. I've also seen the Three Little Pigs, Shan-Yu, the Seven Dwarfs, and Scrooge in the parks doing meet-and-greets, but I wasn't into characters when I saw them. Wish I had gotten their pictures back then. Maybe I'll have a second chance for Scrroge on my next trip.
