Where are you guys Staying before you check-in?

Hey Guys! I was just wondering where you guys were staying before you check in for the cp- I dont know what is close to Vista Way? Any ideas- I was thinking the all stars, grosvenor hotel, etc?? Thanks Y'all

I'll eathier stay at a Fairfield Inn just outside of downtown disney or at one of the All-Stars

I'm going to be staying at the airport all night. Yeah it will suck... but I can barely afford plane tickets! Plus I would be scared to go out in the middle of the night to a hotel/motel by myself ...I am a tiny vulnerable girl lol.

Vista Way is basically right across the street from the Holiday Inn Sunspree.

It's also walking distance (granted, a long walk, and I don't remember if there are sidewalks for the whole way or not) from the DTD hotels, and a much shorter walk (again not sure if there are sidewalks) to the Vistana Resort (timeshare)

None of the on-site resorts would be within walking distance from Vista. I think, as the crow flies, the closest resort would probably be Pop Century, but with the way the roads are laid out, the closest one in terms of driving time might be Caribbean Beach or Saratoga Springs.

One thing you might consider is get a group of 3 or 4 ppl from this board together and go in on a hotel room together ... makes things much more affordable that night.

I havent really thought to much about this. Not good I suppose since I need to make reservations. I think I might stay at the airport as well, either that or at POP. It all depends on how much the room will cost for the night, combined with the airline tickets, and transportation to check-in.

Is anyone's parents going down with them?

I'm gonna be staying at the Howard Johnson Express ... I heard its pretty close too ... I already made my reservation ... I AM SO EXCITED!!!

I haven't figured out where I'm staying yet...I dont check in until Jan 11th, but since I'm driving I'll be leaving Milwaukee on the 5th (because a friend is driving down with me and I want her to have a mini vacation ). So depending on traffic/stopping and what not (I know I'll be speeding like the whole way! lol) I'll hopefully be in Orlando by the 7th? I've never driven before...yay for roadtrips!

Anyone else driving? Or going to be there around the 7th?

I am driving down also. My check in date is the 11th of jan and we are going to leave here the 9th of january- mapquest said its like a 15 hour drive but i will probably get there in like 10-12 hours! haha

lucky! It'll take me about 22-24 hours!
