Why be angry? Give them a call and ask. 800- I fly SWA

One of their friendly associates looked on her computer and the fares from PHL are not yet available.

She suggested checking back from time to time.

I agree with your suggestion. Why be angry? Just check back with SW and someday they will just appear when everything has been settled.

When SW first announced that they were coming to PHL the statement did indicate that they would not announce the schedule until mid December, so I am sure there will be something soon.
It seems that they do not release their schedules very far in advance, for quite some time it did not go past April 2, 2004.
I know that I have gotten use to USAir releasing their schedule at least 9 months ahead, but AirTran does not have their schedule past the end of June. With SW I guess we are just going to have to be a bit patient.

SWA publishes fares approx. 4-6 months out.

Here's what it says on the SWA website...

DALLAS, Dec. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Southwest whetted bargain travelers' appetites today by revealing that its Philadelphia service will begin May 9, 2004, with daily nonstop service to Chicago Midway, Las Vegas, Orlando, Phoenix, Providence, and Tampa Bay. The accompanying fares and direct and connecting service to other cities nationwide will be announced later.

..."Announcing our entry into Philadelphia was just the appetizer, and the destinations are the entree," said Joyce Rogge, Southwest's senior vice president of marketing. "Just wait until you see our fares -- you'll want to save room for dessert!"

In other words you'll have to wait until they release the rest of May's schedule your air. I'm sure it will be about the same as BWI's fares, just so you have an idea. Hope this helps!

I think SW has the fares posted through May 8 and their Philly service starts May 9. My guess is that they'll have the next round of fares up in the first week or two of January.

i guess i just want to have all of my bases covered and it is making me nervous. if i don't have every part of my trip planned, i go nuts. i am holding out for a great rate since i have 3 tickets to buy and am hoping sw will be worth the wait. i have the hotel booked and my dates are set. i must go that week. i don't want to pay $206 to orlando but i guess the worst that can happen is that come january, i still pay $206. i seriously doubt that the airfare would raise in january. I HOPE!

thanks for your repsonses!
