How come the kid's menus have grilled chicken strips? What happened to the fried chicken strips? My son will eat fried chicken strips until he explodes, but not grilled. I looked at the children's menu at several restaurants and did not see fried chicken strips on any of them.

And you won't- WDW for the most part doesn't sell fried chicken strips/fingers anymore; they are currently offering nuggets.

 That sucks. My 4 year old will not eat grilled chicken strips. She thinks nuggets are gross too. She automatically assumes they are processed chicken and won't touch them. She ONLY likes fried chicken strips in that category of food. Plus she doesn't eat mac and cheese or pasta with red sauce either. I have no idea how we'll feed her off of the kids menus.

The fried chicken at CS is now all nuggets. The grilled chicken is Disney's attempt to pass itself off as healthy.

Can I get chicken nuggets at the sit down restaurants? I saw nuggets on the menu for 50's Prime Time Cafe, but I did not see it in the other restaurant menus.

Unfortunately the strips have been compressed to form nuggets that my DS says are not nearly as good as the strips.

As for TS I think a lot of the restaurants serve nuggets made to order. I know we got them last time at the Garden Grill.

When did make the change? We were there in March of 08 and I'm not sure if they were strips or nuggets but they were breaded and what seemed more like baked. When we say grilled, are we talking about open fire "grilling"? I don't see kids liking that. We are going again in December and my DGS lives on chicken strips or nuggets, so it's a big deal. :confused3

Golden Oak Outpost in MK has real breaded/fried chicken strips. They don't have an "official" kids menu, so kids on the DDP can order off of the regular menu.

You can get an adult qs meal of chicken strips at the Studios. The kids menu is the nuggets and I did get them myself. No, there are not as good as the strips. We found them at the qs down toward the Tower of Terror on the left hand side. I can't remember the name of the place though!

Just to let you know...those grilled chicken strips are excellent. Our grand daughter loved them, and hubby and I both thought they were delicious. Better for your children also!
