Which buildings at OKW have grand villas? How many grand villas are there all together? I know that this was handled on this board a year or so ago, but the search function isn't working right now, and this is bugging me! I think I also read that they are each configured differently from each other, or did I dream that part? Last night I dreamt that I bought a grand villa at OKW, and could go to the parks whenever I wanted--it was a great dream!:Pinkbounc

You dreamt the part about them all being configured differently. I have stayed in eaight different units. I think the total was 27 and after the extra bldgs, its now 29, I may be off a little, but not much.

They are spread throughout the resort. I have stayed in eight different units, and other than the early ones being decorated much nicer, they have all been identically laid out. They have all been great locations. The only ones that I had minor problems with were bldg 15, it was kind of close to a road, and I think bldg 52, its parking was less than generous.

Other than those two slight problems, all offered great views and locations. I think the resort was designed so that GVs would have top shelf views and locations.

Rich is certainly our local OKW/GV expert and has good insight into those villas.

Here is a listing of all <a href="http://disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=1251562#post1251562">OKW buildings.</a>

Enjoy!

Doc or anyone, it looks like Type E (bld 48 only) is the only GV as an end unit. Does that mean more windows and privacy and higher demand? Or am I reading that wrong?

Regarding different configerations - BWV's Grand Villas have 2 different setups, either 2 floors or 1 floor spreadout. That's probably what you read about.

It means that's the only ground floor, HCA grand villa. We stayed in it last Christmas. The window configuration was exactly the same as any other GV. I would say privacy was about the same as any other as well.

While the floorplan of this GV was the same as another we've stayed in, the floorplan was a mirror image of the other.

Thanks everyone for the info on grand villas. I feel so much better now!;)
