Looking for some recommendations for fun places to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. What are some of your favorites?

Party of eight--4 adults and 2 kids ages 5 and 7.

:p

On-site ... Emerils ...

Off-site ... Bahama Breeze on I-Drive ...

The rest, I could take 'em or leave 'em ...

J & E's Mom:

You must try Mythos in IOA. It is wonderful!

Also try Margaritaville at City Walk. We had a great time there last Friday night. A super-funny cool guy on stilts makes balloon hats for kids and kids-at-heart. He also leads the crowd in singing before the volcano erupts. What fun!

In IOA: Confisco's(POE), Thundering Falls Terrace (JP), Mythos (upscale). Fresh fruit/water cart across from Enchanted Tavern, excellent fruit cups.

All the bakeries in IOA and Universal are very good places for a pick me up snack.

In Citywalk: Margaritaville was fun, try the Mango Margaritas (WOW!)

At the Portofino Bay Hotel: Mama Della's (if you make a reservation ask for a seat outside).

mamma dellas was great, talked to momma, had the strolling accord. great food, also do not miss mythos, excellant food

I bet your kids would enjoy NBA City.
And the food there is quite good and reasonably priced.
We really enjoyed lunch there on our last visit.

Have fun!

Beckles, we are staying onsite, but I am dying to try Bahama Breeze. We will have a car, how far away is it?

Thanks!

Bahama Breeze is just a short drive away, down International Drive.

I'd also like to recommend two excellent Indian restaurants, Passage To India and Far Pavilion, both near the intersection of International Drive and Kirkman Rd.

What type of food is served at Bahama Breeze and is it a family restaurant?

We usually dine on site, but maybe we will take the ride.

Thanks!:D

careful eating at Bahama Breeze, especially in that area. The food is great, but if you go at the wrong time, the wait is very long. It is not so bad for adults: there is an outside area where you can sit and enjoy some drinks, but children would be bored and they are not allowed in the area without proper supervision. Basically, it is an outside bar and most parents wouldn't want their children hanging out in that environment.

The food is great, definitely a Bohemian flare. I recommend the jerk chicken pasta!

Have fun!
