So let me ask you all. If you book for Oct 2 - Oct 10, would free dining apply to all those days?

Yep. I booked 10/3 to 10/9 and got it for all my days.

I had a trip already booked for my family of four on a 40% off pin at and AMSU Suite, for Sept 19th-25th. Just got off the phone and switched to free dinning and upgraded my son who is six ,but would never survive on the children's meal plan, to an adult ticket to get the full dinning plan. And I still saved $70 off the cost of the trip from the 40% pin, yeah!!!!!! Not a big savings but my son will be so much happier with real food. (^:

Yes, but the rate you pay for your room will go up. Pretty much at every resort, through October 1st is "value season" and October 2 into November is "regular" season.

To give you a few samples (These are pretax rates. Tax is 12.5%): standard mod room Sept is $149, after Oct1 it jumps to $174. Preferred is $170/$195

At AKL standard view room in Sept is $240, after Oct1 it jumps to $290. Savannah view is $305/$360.

Value standard rooms go from (September)$82 to (October) $105.

you have to remember some of the resorts are in another county.
you pay 13% tax at the all stars resorts.
