Where are our March vacationers, 2009 questions.

With Easter back in April is the 3rd week in March more doable. Anyone have experience in this type of timeframe? We are looking at the 22nd to the 29th at the BCV. Is Spring Break in full swing?

My spring break is March 21 to 29 2009, and I'm booking a 2 part vacation. 4-5 nights with DGF's and 3 nights with DH, he doesn't get nearly the same number of vacation days next year (only 20) as compared to this year (29)!

I'll be booking BWV so you'll not have competition for the rooms from me! See you there!!!!

I started a poll a few weeks back on when school breaks were for 2009. Looks like the third week in March is popular but not nearly as bad as Easter or President's Week.

ETA: Oops. I think I was talking about a different week. To clarify: the Week of March 23rd-27th looks good (4th week of March). The week of March 16th-20th (3rd week) is not at good.

In about two weeks, I'm going to be booking for March 15-20, 2009. I'm planning on flying down on March 14, but I don't want to spend 32 points for a studio that night, so I'll book a room at Pop Century for one night and then move.

(My other stay in 2009 will be in December after a four-day Disney cruise.)

I just got confirmation from the wife about booking the trip at the end of the month. Is day by day necessary? With spring break and all? Hopefully it is less cowded than Easter.Or are we far enough away?

We have to travel at our Spring Break time, which seems to differ from many...that would be the last full week in March. We never go to WDW if Easter is close and have always had a "doable" vacation, crowd-wise.

We're looking forward to going back in March 2009! We're going in June, but I think we're a bit insane.

We went March 15-20, '07 and I plan to book for the same week next year. It was one of the best vacations we've ever had. Beautiful weather, manageable crowds, and spring things in bloom. It was too chilly for the pools, but perfect weather for doing the parks. I would just make sure you have ADR's for any restaurants that are a must for you.
