Where are my New England peeps?!?

Hi Everyone,

I love the idea of Nikki's February challenge.. So I need a team and thought I would reach out to my New England peeps!! (Ok you don't have to be from New England but no sports team bashers allowed)

My thought is we plan a small event around the end of the month and turn it into an a-thon. We ask our friends, families and co workers to sponsor us and then we have a fun DIS meet at the same time. Bowl-a-thon, Ice Cream cone-a-thon, even a sing it's a small world-a-thon.

We need at least 5 people and we can get together Feb 25th...

So who's with me?!?

I'm on-call that weekend, although as long as it isn't something I can't disappear from for a while, it shouldn't be a big issue.

There are two small candlepin bowling places near us, one in Acton and one in Harvard (the Acton one is better). It's right off of rt 2. Don't know when Kimballs opens. Brian said there is also a place in Burlington.

It's been years since I've been there, and it may not exist any more - I can't find a web site or reference to it now. But it was pretty big and had both tenpin and candlepin.

Edit: Scratch Burlington. My buddy who bowls confirms it's gone...

There are big balls <shutup Jeff!> right near us in Lowell and candlepin right in Acton. We have been there several times as it is the bowling alley time forgot!

Kimballs is not open but Shaw Farm in Dracut is! We could do Lowell and Dracut if you want!
