Can any tell me if you have found anywhere in Disney World that sells a chocolate soda? Why do they only seem to have milkshakes and floats?

I seem to remember that the restaurants did offer chocolate sodas at one point, but I don't know that any do anymore. They had a variety of flavored syrups that could be added to sodas, actually. I remember having a blackberry Coke at one restaurant in 2006. When we returned to the same restaurant the following year, the server looked bewildered at our request for the same.

Yeah, sorry. I can't help you with specifics, but if I had to postulate on any place that might serve them, I'd say the Fountain in the Dolphin.

The Beverly in EPCOT is like chocolate soda, even better and it's free!:thumbsup2

Beaches and Cream at BC has ice cream sodas listed on their menu.

The Dolphin Fountain does not list ice cream sodas.

Ghiaradelli Soda Fountain at DTD does not list ice cream sodas, although strangely, their official store name contains the words "Soda Fountain."

I could be wrong, but I get the impression that the OP is referring to what is commonly known as an Italian soda, not an ice cream float or ice cream soda. Like I said, though, I'm not entirely sure.

In any case, if anywhere on property does indeed make a chocolate beverage using carbonated water, be it with or without ice cream, the Fountain, Beaches and Cream and Ghirardelli are probably the best bet to find them.

Just to add an Italian Soda is soda water and flavored syrup.

I know for sure Beaches & Cream offers Chocolate or Vanilla or Cherry soda. That is cherry or vanilla or chocolate syrup into coke. 50's Prime Time & Sci Fi only have Vanilla or Cherry.

If you look at menus on allears they list the options at 50's & Sci Fi but not at Beaches & Cream. I know for sure they have them because I get them there :)

OP here! What we call a Chocolate soda where I am from consists of:
Soda water, ice cream (your flavor choice. mine is always chocolate),flavored syrup, topped off with whipped cream and a cherry, and served with a straw and spoon! YUMMY!:woohoo:
Much lighter than a milkshake. Just as good , just not as filling.

We call that an ice cream soda. I get them a lot at home.

Like I posted earlier, Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club has ice cream sodas. No place else I looked had them.

I always get a chocolate soda at Ghiradellis in DTD, been ordering them for years and they make them great. It is not on the menu anymore but I always order one and it is no problem. The las Vegas Ghiradellis will make them also. I had a chocolate soda once at Beaches and Cream but I thought it was horrible compared to Ghiradellis.
