Where are all the deals?

Hi everyone,

These boards don’t seem to be as busy as they used to be. We last went to DLRP just before Christmas in 2019 so a lot has changed since we last went. At the time I was pregnant and we also had a 5 year old but this time round we will have a 8 year old and 2.5 year old.

All the times we used to go they had eat free offers, or 4 nights for price of 3 or 40% off. However I can’t see them offering anything. Is this the norm now? It seems so expensive.

Also I know breakfast isn’t generally included anymore, but how do the meal vouchers now work? Are they even worth doing now?

Also is there a date in which the Disneyland hotel is reopening?

Have I missed anything else in the nearly 3 years we haven’t been?

Hope some of you lovely lot can help me out. We would love to do a sneaky little trip before our Disney cruise next year.

Hi I’m in a similar position as you, used to go regularly had a shock wanting to go now. So expensive and appears complicated lol

We have APs and stay offsite but the onsite deals are no where as good as they used to be. I wouldnt expect the Disneyland Hotel to open before the end of 2023 at the earliest

No deals: Covid
Disneyland hotel: Nothing communicated about it
What did you miss: Avengers land opened, loads of new shows, including for the 30th anniversary.
Meal vouchers: You always had to price it out to see if it was worth it. You still need to, it works for some families.

I imagine there haven't been deals recently due to covid, resulting in having to close and then also each country all having different travel rules until very recently. Like all companies, they are trying to recoup lost revenue
