We are going for seven days Dec/Jan and all my DH just wants a good burger! Where will we find a thick, juicy, great tasting burger?

We really liked the burgers from Beaches and Cream at Beach Club a lot.

We really like the burgers at Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney.

I have to agree about Beaches and Cream. We thought their burgers were fantastic!

Another vote for Beaches & Cream!!!

I would also vote for Beaches and Cream! Though we also did enjoy our burgers at Sci FI! :rotfl:

Sci-Fi is our favorite burgers!! We use to like Beaches and Cream, but they seemed not as good lately (greasy) and now we only go to Sci-Fi for great burgers and good milkshakes. We love the enviroment as well, not as crowded as Beaches and Cream.

We very much enjoy a great burger. Some of our favorites places are: Beaches and Cream, Grand Fla. Cafe and Liberty Tree Tavern.

I have to disagree about the burgers from Beaches & Cream (theres always one isnt there?? :teeth: After being built up for ages about these being the best burgers onsite I was prepared for something a bit special...the reality was a very mediocre burger in a non toasted bun, garnished with a limp piece of lettuce and a slice of tomato. There was NO onion (a burger without onion???), no sauce or seasoning - bland, bland, bland. And at $9 not exactly a bargain either!

I have since found out that you have to ask for onion, mayo or ketchup (we ordered from the highly manic take out window and didnt know the "drill"). Even still, I was sorely disappointed - I have had "plain" burgers before, where the quality of the meat and bun overides the need for extra garnish, but this was not such a burger.

ITA ::yes:: We were very disappointed in B&C. We gave it a couple chances in case we caught an off night & both times we were very underimpressed with the burgers/sandwiches there. We stick to B&C Ice Cream.

Hubby is a Burger Conisuier (sp?) He swears the best WDW burger is found at the Cabana Bar & Grill at the Swan/Dolphin pool. It is a half-pound Black Angus Ground Beef on a good Kaiser roll. Both DH & DS said it was the best burger thay'd ever had in WDW. They were calling it "Cheeseburger in Paradise"

Thanks for the posts. We will go to Sci-Fi and maybe Beaches & Cream. We have seven days so two burgers might be enough for DH!!

Sounds just like my DH. Maybe we should hit the Cabana and not B&C!!
There are so many choices and we haven't eaten at many of the restaurants.

We eat ALOT of burgers at WDW, and the best ones we've had are at the Plaza in MK. Big, juicy ones. :)

My husband and I vote for the bacon double cheeseburgers at Beaches and Cream with the burges from the Dolphin Fountain coming in a close second.

I agree with most of the above. We like B&C, but only for ice cream. Otherwise we like Sci-Fi cafe, but we really are going to have to try the Swan and Dolphin burger, sounds awesome! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I am going to add the burger at the Concourse Steakhouse at lunchtime. One of the best I have ever had.
