When's your Spring Break?

Inspired by the "Check those school calendars" thread....

When is your Spring Break for 2005? I have always heard Spring Break is one of the busiest times at WDW, but ours is very early next year (due to Easter being in March). Will anyone else be Spring Breaking at Disney March 6-12, 2005?

I just check DS's calendar. He's attending the University of Michigan. They're off from Feb. 26 - Mar. 7 in 2005 ... but then classes end April 19. I guess that you'd need a college degree to understand having Spring Break before it's Spring can make sense.

we're in a parochial school in new york (LI) ... have a traditional easter break beginning wed 3/23 ending mon 4/4
but FYI ... public schools here have a split break ... a few days at easter and a few days at passover which is the end of april ... around the 25th of april or so

My school district has our spring break the last week of April regardless of when Easter falls. Stinks waiting that long yet it is nice since we only have about 7 weeks or so after that.

Fall break is October 2-October 11.

We have off for Easter March 24-28 and Spring Recess is April 23-30. And that's why we're starting school tomorrow, before Labor Day.

Another last week of april 23-30 so its looks like lots of ny metro people will be in the world then. We were there easter this year, our first time and it wasnt that bad. You just need to get up early, get the fp and make all your ps before you leave and be prepared to stand on the busses alot. Other than that we had a great time and the weather sure beat our usual august.

I'm picking up some programming classes at the local community college to spiff up my resume. My spring break is the same as my kindergartener's ... the week before Easter.

BTW, today is her first day of school!

I would SO love this! Would love to have a week's vacation at a time where most of the world is at school/work!

Ours is always the week after Easter, although this year they changed it to the week before through Easter Monday.

All our public elementary schools are out early in March in our city and most others inthe province. Then the highschools I believe are a week later.

That's not fair, we are in aigroeG too and are out the same time for Spring, but we don't get a fall break!

This year it's March 13-19, when it's still usually freezing cold out. I miss being in high school, when we used to have a winter break at the end of February and a spring break at the end of April.

Ours is always at Easter and I wish it wasn't. It would make traveling much easier, as no matter where I want to go, they raise their prices at Easter.

I picked Easter through April 2, but ours actually starts on the 24th, yes they have a week and a half off of school this year! That is way too long IMO, but DH has said we may head down to Ft. Myers to visit his parents who winter there, which would be fun. Hm, maybe I can convince him to take a little detour up to Orlando for a day!

You have to live in NW aigroeG, PM to get this special break. You're missing the W in your locale.
