Another Dis-er emailed it to me and somehow dh got it on his phone, then sent to my phone. PM me either and I can send it to you. It's very good quality; not recorded from sailaway party.
Not sure if they still do this but years ago DCL sent us CDs of island music with ship's horn back when we 1st sailed. I can't even find it now.
Just a bit of information from a veteran Coast Guardsman... Vessels are required as per the Rules of the Road to display certain lights depending on their length and activity as well as give specific sound signals whenever they perform certain maneuvers. For example three short blasts of the horn means, I am operating my engines in astern propulsion. Or hey, watch out Im in reverse here. Other sound signals mean other things. Normally its not a battle per say...its just the officer on the con doing his job. The cruise ships are letting each other know what theyre doing so they dont collide at sea. It happens more than you can imagine. I was a duty coxswain (boat captain) in the Coast Guard and went through Rules of the Road school. You had to pass a very in depth lengthy test with a 98% in order to pass the coarse. Lives depend on it
