Thanks for all the well wishes everyone! I am trying to kill some time until I can check in online with Southwest for our flight.I am having so much anxiety about it I am trying not to throw up! I have been having so much anxiety the last few days but find that everything is falling into place..
Hannah slowly unpacked her bag as she decided she needed to have all her little stuffed friends in bed with her.She recieved a new rolling princes bag from the Make a Wish girls so that will be her new carry on.She has been keeping me on my toes as she goes through the bag pulling cool stuff out an then NOT PUTTING THEM BACK! I am in fear we will leave something behind. I am sure she will be trying to slip all her stuffed animals in at the last minute.Logan was beyond excited to put the last sticker on the countdown calendar this morning."You mean we only have one day left?????" Today will be busy, last minute errands and packing.I hope I sleep tonight. I am worse than a kid on Christmas. This will probably be my last post before we leave.....so I will be thinking of you all and promise to take lots of pics.Have a fabulous week and I will see you all here before you know it!!!!!!

Why don't you go to the podium at Southwest and ask them a preboard pass? You may find it easier with Hannah.

I know you are going to have a wonderful vacation. I feel like I'm going with you!

Oh wow, I didn't know you could do that. There was a small snafu with our confirmation number and we got section B boarding.I was hoping they would allow us to board before that.I thought we were out of luck since they board small kids under 4 before section B.I was hoping that since Hannah has a disabilty and we would be gate checking her wheelchair that they might give us some consideration.I really don't care where we sit as long as the kids are not seperated from us.I am sure it will all work out.I will check with them at the podium.

If you have a wheelchair, I don't think you'll have a problem at all. I was worried about standing too long, I had broken my foot and my RSD flared up, of course I walked to the podium with a cane and they never asked. But before I knew you could even do this, I had taken my Mom the year before. She ended up in the hospital just before the trip, and we took a wheelchair. I got in line to preboard with the kids, and they actually came and got her and boarded before the kids.

I don't think boarding is all that bad at SW. My sister got on with the kids first. And I was literally the last person on, with a full plane. And got to sit right next to her. So B would most likely be okay.

We are home!!!!!

Had an amazing time.I have lots to share and tons of pics.I am having an issue with some pictures from days 1-3 so hoping to get that resolved tomorrow so I can get this trip report started. We had a magical week an we can't believe we crammed so much in.We are exhausted though. Our flight home was supposed to leave at 7:40 pm.It was delayed by three hours, taking off finally at 10:30 pm and arriving at 1:00am.We finally got home at 2:15 am last night which is way past the time I turn into a pumpkin. The kids had a ball and everyong loved the custom clothing. We got tons of compliments from CM's and the character Terk really wanted Hannah's outfit for herself! More to follow once I get a little sleep!

Your home :) . I can't wait to hear about your trip :thumbsup2 . That stinks about the delay :sad1: That must have been a long day for the kids. Now it is time to take a vacation from your vacation.

WELCOME HOME!!!! :yay: Can't wait to hear all about it and see your pics!!!! Where all did you go???? Hurry and get some rest so you can spill the beans!!

:headache: I can't imagine how tired you must be after the delayed flight!!

Welcome Home.....I can't wait to hear and see all about it. I hope you pic issue isnt serious..... Glad you had a great time and now its time for a vacation from the vacation  I'll check back later! :goodvibes

Ok folks, grab the popcorn. I finally figured out my picture issues thank goodness.Give Kids the world is nice enough to upload your memory cards onto disk, and for some reason I couldn't view the first three days.I was in tears thinking I had lost them but then was able to open them another way.Ok here goes:
We woke up the kids about 5:00 am.Even though they knew it was finally Disney day we were greeted by this:

The limo showed up right on time at 6:15am.The nice driver told me she had gotten here early but chose to wait in the mall parking lot as not to freak me out by being early.Bless that woman because I was running around unpugging everything and generally panicking. I was so worried we would forget something crucial.(we didn't!) The limo was great and we felt like celebrities and my Mom and Dad video taped the whole thing. The kids were very suprised.Logan was real impressed that it had a tv in it.We enjoyed the nice hour ride to the airport.

When we arrived our Make a wish granters were there and they helped us with our bags and we made our way to security.Hannah was still a little sleepy and feeling a bit cranky. She has a lot of anxiety issues with new situations and was gearing up for a big melt down a bit later...;)

We made it through security fairly quickly even though we had a wheelchair and two CPAP machines. They quickly swabbed them for explosives and we were given the all clear. As we were going to find a seat to wait and nice man at the Southwest desk motioned me over and gave me a pre boarding pass.YEAH! Now I didn't have to worry about sitting together(I always obsess about things and they always work themselves out)Finally they announced our flight. This is when we hit our first issue.Paul and Logan went down the ramp and I followed pushing Hannah is her wheelchair(Hannah walks but has a lot of stamina issues, she has low muscle tone and it takes twice as much work for her to do simple tasks. She gets exhausted easily)When we got to the bottom of the ramp Hannah got out of her chair so they could gate check it.Hannah freaked out and started running back up the ramp. She was so scared and crying.I tried to conatin her but boy is she strong when she wants to be.Paul had to come scoop her up and carry her on the plane.Fortunately the nice Southwest employee had held the rest of the passengers at the top so they never saw the drama going on when we boarded.Once Hannah was in her seat she was ok but not happy. She had a lot of anxiety during take off and I will spare you the details but she ended up getting so scared that she had a little accident.I had to change her in that tiny airplane bathroom and she had to go commando for the rest of the flight.Fun times! Fortunately after we were in the air for a while she calmed down and seemed to actually like the flight. She kept busy with coloring and Logan played his gameboy. The flight attendants were polite but I got the feeling that they may have been annoyed at us.I don't think they "get" the issues of having a child with a disabilty.I do want to add that Hannah and Logan were perfectly behaved for the flight thank goodness.

We landed in Orlando around noon. We took the tram to the luggage claim and met our greeter who was holding up a sign with Hannah's name.Carol was so sweet and helped us with our luggage and took us to get our rental car.We were given a great mini van(Chevy uplander) and they had a booster seat for Logan also.(Thanks Dena and Chrissy!)We had great directions to Give Kids the World and Carol bid us farwell. We were finally on our way to a magical vacation!
