When you where a kid, do you remember

Oh, ye-es!And I remember how my mother, who is now deceased, managed to serve us hot chili on what turned out to be the hottest day of the year. Of course, when we moved, later on that school year, we could no longer come home for lunch.

My husband did this in elem. school, but I took a bag lunch consisting of a cheese sandwich on white bread for all my school years.

Absolutely. When I was in grade school, I walked to and from school without any adult..No way would I do that now with my kids.

I used to eat my Campbell's tomato soup (made with milk) and watch "The Don Ho Show"! Weird, the things that you remember!

When I was in grade school my mom picked me up and I came home for lunch everyday. On nice days she would bring me back in time for recess.

Awesome yes I remember that. We used to go to my Nana's house for lunch up until 5 th grade. They were home and my Mom worked nights and was sleeping.

I think it changed shortly after that. I remember brown bagging it, and many, many pb & j samdwiches.

I loved that. Imagine letting your children walk everywhere? Wow has the world changed.
