Besides the "big 4" and the water parks? Especially those of you who have little ones.

I'm getting so many good tips from this brd.

We've been to Disney so many times, yet there is so much I haven't done. This time, I'd like to take dd horse/pony ridding.

Depending on how old the little ones are i recently found a little
interesting thing to do that even myself wants to do at age 30.

WL and POLY have, every morning i tthink, a lady bug releaing..
guests are given a matchbox with ladybugs in them and at 10 & 11am the guests release the ladybugs to the landscaping and are educated about how ladybugs are a benefit to the conservation of plants, etc.

I think it would be neat to do.

I found it on www.wdwig.com

would post the link but cant remember where i found it.

Kimberle Hi what an adorable picture.:D . We DH DD 7 and DS 9 will be there soon. We plan on exploring some of the resorts and the arcades there. Our first night will be at ASMo, we will walk around and see all the giant icons. Have always wanted to do this. I think it'll be good for some pictures.

DD is doing the Wonderland Tea Party at the GF.
Last trip DD DS did the Pirate Cruise they enjoyed that.
Play mini golf
Downtown Disney
Lots to do at FW

Have a fun time in the World.

When we were there in May were did a tour of the monorail resorts to look around and get pressed pennies (a favorite of DD - almost 4). We also spent an entire morning on the beach at WL. It was fun watching all the boats and playing in the sand. DTD is also a big favorite of DD with the lego stuff and the fountains.

Granted my kids are a little older, but we have fun finding hidden Mickeys! There is even a sheet distributed at WL that gives clues about where to find them. We never did find them all. At BC hidden Mickeys are everywhere, from the wallpaper to the rugs in the hallways.

The Campfire Show at Fort Wilderness is fun. Chip n Dale make an appearance, there's singing, roasting marshmallows, and there's an outdoor movie screen that features a Disney flick after the campfire show.

Also - we like to wander around Downtown Disney, in and out of shops.:D

We like to do a lot of extra stuff. We stay at the YC or BC. So, we love to hang out at the resort and play in Stormalong Bay, stroll the boardwalk, play minature golf at Fantasia over by the Swan & Dolphin.

We also love to have a fort wilderness outing. We've been canoeing, rented water mice, rented bikes, went horseback riding, visited the petting zoo, attended the campfire singalong, and we've taken a hay ride. Lots to do at Fort Wilderness.

Downtown Disney and the marketplace is fun. Shopping, dining, etc. My husband loves the Virgin megastore.

We like to see the Electrical Water Pageant at one of the monorail resorts. We saw it at the Poly this year.

We like resort-hopping. Just strolling around the different resorts and maybe eating or maybe just strolling and looking.

There is so much fun to be had at WDW outside of the big 4 and the water parks.

A few of the things we like to do at WDW aside from the theme parks and water parks are go shopping at Downtown Disney, watch the Electric Water Pageant, spend some time at Ft. Wilderness and check out other resorts.

I've been to disney various times and never saw the electric light pageant. Where can I go to see it. We are staying at the swan.
I think it would be something great to do at night.

We've stayed at CBR and CSR....we had fun biking! We rented the surrey bike and just wondered around the grounds. It was nice! Try biking when raining...ohh try swimming while raining...that was lots of fun!

When at ASR...we walk around the grounds too and enjoy the "bigger than life" icons and take lots of pixs!

These are such great ideas!

It's so nice to take a little time "off" to "stop & smell the roses"!

:jester:

One whole day at the resort and doing nothing, except a swim or two. AHHHH!!

We always spend our first night at Disney at Fort Wilderness Cabins and have dinner at Trail's End, visit the General Store to pick up breakfast stuff and go to the Outdoor movie.
Next morning we move over to the Yacht Club.

Last trip we rented Mouse Boats at the Yacht Club. It was LOTS of fun. Will definately do it again next trip.

Also, we did Dolphins in Depth. It was amazing.

Illuminations Cruise will also be a repeat.

We also did Fantasia Mini Golf which DS (age 5) loved.
