Been looking at my fitday numbers, getting my nutrients, sodium is high, fat is ok. Started going from 1200 calories to 1500 to 2000 and now Ive had a few days that are starting to get over 2000 calories! The scale is still ok but I feel that if I keep this up I'll be in trouble. So its time to cut back again, start drinking my water allotment, etc

When do you catch yourself?

Wow, that's a tough one. I guess the correct answer is to catch yourself before your put it in your mouth, not after you've finished the carton of ice cream. (hey, it was Sugar Free!)
For me it's learning what I can handle and what I can't. Obviously, SF ice cream can't be in the house. The same with SF pudding, I just can't stop eating it. However, the Russell Stover SF candy is great - I can eat one square and be happy.

I just start cutting out indulgences. Less wine (that is usually where it starts for me, an extra glass here or mabe a mixed drink there), less carbs. No sweets. Then I start introducing more veggies, and take an extra 10 mins when I exercise. Just start back in the direction you want to be headed. Sometimes just turning around and facing that way is all you need to get going.

Are you at the weight you are comfortable with? If you are, then 2000 cals should be fine, as long as you are getting some exercise every day. If you overindulge on occasion, put in an extra 10 mins or so exercising. Find the balance.

Good luck!
Tracy
