When you see a LGMH do you greet?

Ok, I'm going to finally get a LGMH for this trip since I have so enjoyed getting advice and tips and just sharing magic with you guys.
The question is, what do you guys do when you see another DISer?

Curious myself - heard about that focking, though! A woman standing ahead of me in line at Kohl's one day had a Mickey Mouse purse, MM checks ( I use them all the time) a mouse shirt and a mouse dangler from her purse. I had to say hello. She was a little cold at first - I think she thought I was making fun of her or something, then I told her how much I love Disney and about the boards - by the end she was smiling!

I always feel like if I approached someone they would end up not wanting to talk or being mean. You just never know. I would love it if I saw someone with a LGMH! I thought about getting one of those disboard shirts that disshopkeeper has on her posts. I would hope that if someone saw me with one, they would come over to talk!

At first when I started reading about the LGMH's I thought "OMG.....these people just go too far, don't they have a life?" .....fast forward to last week.....hubby has gone back to work overseas in Africa for 7 weeks and he has in his possession many LGMH's (why did I feel so guilty taking them from Home Depot?) that he will laminate for me when he's at work. How did it get this far? When did I lose my sanity? When did the need to check the disboards every morning become such a habit?

I plan to hang the LGMH's off each and every piece of my luggage....I figure it'll help me recognize my luggage as it comes off the plane! I'm also going to attach them to our packs we carry around the park....and our umbrella stroller! I hope that by doing this some other DISers will come up and say hi!

Why would you purpously walk around with lime green mickey stuff on, and especially LGMH if you DIDNT want to be recognized?? What other purpose is there, unless you are having a big inside joke with yourself. I think anyone who has LGMH stuff should b e friendly if you approach them. I know I will be---11/1--11/6!!!

I met quite a few DISers on our trip a month ago. I not only have LGMH on my backpack, but one pinned to my shirt! I also had what is in my siggy on a LG flag on my stroller with LG ribbons. I pretty much screamed DIS!!! Oh, and the kids had LGMH with "Future DISer" on their fanny packs.

Everyone was extremely nice. DISer's don't wear the Lime if they don't want to chat! Some were just quick hello's, I DIS also, gotta run, and some were long conversations while waiting in lines (3 out of 6 families waiting for Disney Visa photo at Epcot!) or on the bus to or from the resort.

I had several come up to me that were not wearing the Lime so not all DISers do, but they still like to say hi. Just realize that sometimes we are on our way and only have time for a quick hello. It is nothing personal if they dont' stay and chat.

There were 2 that I saw that I didn't talk to--1 family had LGMH on their backbacks and were way ahead of us entering Fantasmic. I yelled "Hey DISers" (much to the embarassment of my 10 yr old!) several times, but they couldn't hear me. The others were in the gift shop at POP one night. I was tired and cranky and the shop was crowded. I couldn't get to them through the other people to say Hi, and I didn't feel like yelling or making an effort. I would have said Hi if we had crossed paths.

I also had a DISer that saw my stroller (couldn't miss it!) many times during the week, but never saw us. She contacted me here just this week! I have also had another DISer that I talked with in line one day PM me this weekend to say Hi.

I didn't fock anyone--never a chance to. We either talked, or didn't make eye contact.

Just make sure that you remember to bring them! I had some to bring on our trip a couple of weeks ago. I made a special trip to HD just to get them. And I left them all at home!

I only saw one during our trip and it was on an empty stroller! Have a great trip!

My Dd has pronounced us all NUTS. I think she tolerated the LGMH 's fairly well but my obsession with not being able to get the ORANGE bouncing Mickey after being BOOedand asking for her help convinced her we are all over the edge! Just wait till Disney and I'm running up to everyone in Lime Green!!!

I was so disappointed when we went in August - I didn't meet anyone from DIS. My in-laws thought I was . I not only had my LGMH on my fanny pack, but I had FlyingBelle written in lime green on the fanny pack and a t-shirt with FlyingBelle across the back in lime green.

Oh well... guess it wasn't a DIS-popular weekend. I'll try again!

We went down two weeks ago and I proudly wore my LGMH on my fanny pack with my big lime green DIS button. We went down with my SIL/BIL's best friend who works at Disney Hong Kong. At first they were poking fun, but then after a few days, the guy said to me, if it weren't for you Disney Maniacs, I wouldn't have a job! Him and my IL's kept a keen eye out for other LGMH's for me.
While on our first ride of the morning at AK, FastCars63 said to me, very quietly, I do that, too (pointing to my button) and I said, You do?!?! He asked me my name and he told me his and I was so excited to Meet another DIS'er I started yelling, take our picture!!!
IL's and friend thought it was so funny that someone actually recognized the Green! DH thought I embarrased FastCars63, but I was just so happy to meet another DIS'er!
Then at the Food & Wine festival we saw a stroller pass us with a big LGMH. I was in the middle of a conversation with my MIL and SIL and I just bolted. I was very happy to meet Amanda, aka TheDisneyBunch. She was strolling around with her husband and her two sons, one of which is sooo tiny, a brand new baby! She and her family were Very Nice
We wound up running into her again at the Emporium right before closing at MNSSHP. She took awesome photos of an empty park that night about a half hour after I left.
We also met some other DIS'ers at a meet & greet at MNSSHP. I'll post a trip report soon.

I say Proudly Wear The Green! I'm always busy "talking" with you guys, I really enjoy meeting you face to face.

awesome !!! I metBriansPixie also in my previous trip! I had a very good experience with my Lime Green always but this past trip was the best ever! There were a bunch of Diser at PoP who decorated their room windows (including us) and so you get to DIS LIVE ! Also have encountered alot of Lime Green Mickey's at 4 different parks and some may some stop and chat and some we just have that "Nice to see yah feelow diser" Nod
