When you rent points from a DVC member..?

I have a question about renting from a DVC owner. When you check in to the resort do you just give the reservation number? What about adding the dining plan and tickets? Does everything come on your room key like with the MYW? I know this is a pain but I'm a bit confused

We have a certificate from the person who rented points to us. That's what will will use at check-in.

When we rented always got a copy of the res. sent to us. Yes you can add the dining plan after April 1st.

When you rent DVC points, you are renting the lodging only. Separate arrangments need to be make for tickets, dining etc... I'm not sure with the new ticket schedule, but you may have separate tickets to the parks (not your room key). There may still be a way to do that. I'm sure some one will chime in and let you know about that one.

The member who made you the reservation will need to call Member Services if you want to have the Dining Plan. It has to be added before you get there. But you pay for the plan when you check in. Also, just tell the CM when you check in that you need tickets. They will charge you then and add them to your room ID. They will ask if you want a credit card to charge to or if you want to pay for everything right then.
