When you go to a dollar-type store...

...do you linger for a LONG time, looking at everything?

I do. My DH thinks I'm nuts. But sometimes, I just find great stuff if I look real close.

That's so funny, my co-worker and I JUST got back from roaming our local dollar store!! We went down every aisle and spent a good deal of time in the kitchen and pet toy section!

No. They are junk shops. I try to get in and out. I only go in there for mylar balloons.

I look around in them for a while, I love to find a good bargain. While I do think there is a lot of junky stuff in them, you can often find some very good buys.

It depends on the store. Some of the dollar stores around here are really nice and some are just flat nasty. I do like to roam around and see what little specials I can find when it's a nice clean store.

I love the dollar store. DD and I went yesterday and I didn't buy but they had mugs with Mickey Mouse on them. Very cute.

I have a brand new Dollar Tree by me and I go in there at least once a week to look. I've found tons of scrapbooking stuff for $1 and I also buy tea lites every week to burn my Yankee tarts.

The one by my office has TONS of Disney stuff!!!

I've bought paper products there, name brand candies and snack foods, pet toys and I'll probably do most of DN's Easter basket there. If I can get it for $1, why go to Target and spend $3?

I don't get to go to dollar stores very often, so when I do I linger for a littlle while. Not hours, but maybe half and hour.

I agree, there is alot of junky junk - but how can I beat a whole big package of napkins for a buck? Or paper plates? Or gift bags? I've seen the same stupid gift bags at other stores for 5 bucks - I'll take the dollar bag please.

I love them..Clean ones that is...Usually buy the regular stuff, bags, plates, jcloths, etc..
