do you stay onsite the whole time or do you take time to go to SeaWorld, Universal, etc.? We stay on Disney property the whole time and I was just wondering what other people do. :D

We stay on-site 90% of our time. WE do venture off to the gulf coast or Vero Beach for a few days, may walk around Old Town, CityWalk. This year we plan on trying Discovery Cove. We stay for 15 days in the summer.

WE will be going to US/IOA in March for a quick getaway and my DD's cheerleading competition.

Why would anyone want to leave? ;)
We stay onsite 100% of the time.

On site 100%! We try to figure out a way to Universal every year but somehow we just can't find the time to go! ;)

It's been a while since we have ventured off site somewhere... the last set of trips have been onsite only. I do want to try IoA or USF someday though :)

We stay onsite all the time. I've been to IOA once, but that was after taking DH to a conference. I can't get him to visit IOA even though I'm sure he'd love it if he ever gave it a shot.

100% onsite so far for the last several trips!

We talk about the 'other' attractions, but maybe next time;)

We stay on site 100% and still visit the others. We did Discovery Cove and Sea World this past summer. During Christmas we did IOA and US.

When youngest DS reaches 54in. we will stay a few days at PBH to take advantage of the FOTL access.

It took us some time to get DH to visit the "other" parks!

Onsite, but this year we might venture to the beach for a few hours...

We usually sleep mostly on site, but try to take a day or so off-site. We love IOA, and try to go there one time. Once we took a few days and traveled around the state to sightsee, but I won't do that again. It was very exhausting, and I would have rather been at WDW. I do like a Vero/Disney vacation, we did that once. If we ever leave and sleep off-site, I prefer to come back and see WDW once more before we go home. But, if I had my way, I'd always stay at BCV.

Our first year was on-site WDW. Next time we went, we added USF/IOA, staying at the Hard Rock. Everybody loved it so much, that on our next trip, we're staying one day longer at USF/IOA and one day less at WDW. Just LOVE those FOTL perks at USF/IOA!!

We go to WDW 1-3 times a year and stay on site 99% of the time. This last trip we went to the cape to check on shuttle launches, but we usually spend each 7-10 day trip completely on-site. Drove past Universal this trip and decided "no thanks". Just not the atmosphere we are looking for. WDW is so good at that!

We are usually there for only about 6 days, so we stay on Disney property at all times. Even when we have a car with us, we dont venture out.

Once I hit Disney property I don't want to leave it until my trip is over. On-sight 100% of the time.

My DW and I used to go off-property to SeaWorld or to a beach. But not anymore. We are 100% Disney on trips where we stay on-site.

We stay onsite other than a day at Universal and a day at Sea World each time. (Staying at a WDW resort the whole time tho)

We plan days in our trip to include days outside of WDW. We've been to Sea World, USF, air boat rides, Gator Land, the Mercadio.

When we go down in June, we are going to USF and IOA exclusively, nothing else.

When we go in August, we plan on going to Universal, Holyland Experience and we are hoping to fit in Discovery Cove. :) Someday I want to try the simulator sky diving air tunnel thing.

Sometimes we go to Daytona Beach for a few hours, but last trip we stayed on-site 100%.

We stay all 9 nights at Ft. Wilderness, but usually venture to off-site attractions for one day.

Try "Old Fashioned Airboat Rides" in Christmas, FL (45 minutes east of WDW) and then stop at Cocoa Beach and Ron Jon's Surf Shop!!!!

We went to Universal one year, but didn't care for it. You can't top WDW for theme parks and we go annually to the "#1 Amusement Park in the World" for thrill rides - Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio!!! ... so I have no use for Universal.

Sea World is good but we've already been a couple of times and that's enough for a few years anyway.

We are doing Kennedy Space Center for our trip off-site this year ... last time was about 5 years ago. We'll probably stop at Ron Jon's and Cocoa Beach because it's nearby.

It makes for a nice break from WDW, but I'm always glad once we drive back onsite because the traffic is much, much less!
