I got one last year and I thought I was gaining a friend instead it was a filter violation. I wrote something "bad" and my whole post disappeared. Yet, about a week later someone else used the same "bad" phrase I did and their post stayed. I think someone ratted me out. I was going to report it but I'm bigger than that.

Way bigger since I quit smoking.

I just got 1 PM from a mod a few years ago. Minor infraction...nothing to see here.....move on.......

I usually just get the good, non-mod ones

No. It usually takes me a couple of days to notice that I have one through. I don't get many PMs.

If I get a PM I KNOW it's from a mod. Odds are I gave someone a verbal smackdown & they whined about it. Doesn't phase me at all. I'll admit I laugh when I read them. I'll probably get banned for this post alone.

Of the 8 PMs I have gotten, 7 have been from a Mod. So, chances are, yeah, Ive gotten points or a vacation

The PM phobia is a result of having received a "you've been a bad boy...now stand in the corner for an hour" PM from a mod...

You end up with disBoard PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder).
