When you get a headache, do your shoulders and neck hurt too?

My headaches KILL my neck and upper back/shoulder area. I just wish I could take a straightening iron and flatten out the knots.

Do you get headaches like this?

Yeah.. tension headaches suck. Try excedrin tension headache. They worked for me. Second, try relaxing your shoulders, then rotate each shoulder one at a time. That usually helps me too.

Yes, grinningghost, I get those headaches. I hate when that happens! I get them a lot actually...hmmmmm, I wonder if it's just a coincidence that they usually happen when my girls are fighting?

Yep, (ignoring bellybutton comments), I know what you mean...

This might sound weird, but try pressing the spot on your hand between your thumb and index finger. It is a pressure point that can alleviate some of the tension. Another spot is right below the elbow joint, on the part of your arm facing up. (Even better if you can find someone else to do this for you!)

It might hurt, but it really does help.
