When you collect pins, do you keep...

those black plastic things the pin comes on?

I have bought some pins, am not that much into it, and I have that bag with the sheets you can put the pins on. What I wondered: do you keep those plastic things the ppin came on? They usually say whether it's a limited edition or not, ... Or do you put your pin in your organizer and throw the wrapping/ packaging away?

I don't keep the black card.

I don't keep the plain black cards, but I do keep some of the special cards. For example, the DVC and Annual Passholder cards, Flower & Garden, Food & Wine, pin events, special series, etc. I think some people even use these specialty cards in their frames or displays.

Couldn't possibly keep them all. We keep some just in case we need something to put a pin on, but most we don't keep.

I don't keep the black card. I'd have WAY too many of them.

Yep, I have to be different.

I really want the original black backer thingie ( if it came with one) if the pin I trade for is for my personal collection.
If I trade a pin that does not have the original black backer thingie , I will tell the trader beforehand.
I wrap each of my pins in plastic sealed baggies and it fits perfectly if the black backer thingie is still with the pin.
I think it is a nicer presentation and I am all about presentation

I keep me traders on black cards but not my keepers. I only have the cards from keepers where the card was different or special and I might need it if I later want to sell or trade it.

I don't keep the black plastic backings. Most of my pin collection was my Marmee's and she gave me them and her pinbook.

I don't keep them either, but I did keep the ones that were brought back from Tokyo and Hong Kong for me because I don't know when I'll ever get over there myself. LOL.
