When you add person to deed, how does it effect reservations?

Say you have two contracts, and you want to add a person to one of them. So one person will be on both contracts, another person will be added to the second one (but be an associate on the other).

Does that cause havoc in making reservations? Like would you be unable to combine the points? Would it force separate accounts?

Also, if a deed is changed, does that effect being able to book outside DVC? Like if you are able to book a cruise line, if you change the deed, will you then not be able to?

It could mean that the other person makes reservation(s) using points from the deed that has their name on it. Also if the other person goes through a divorce or bankruptcy, the deed that has their name on it is part of their property to be divided or used to offset the bankruptcy. That would mean a lean might be held against that deed. And you cannot make reservations if a lean has been applied.

If just adding a name it won't change whether the points are qualified or restricted. That will remain the same as it was.

If you add a person to one contract and not the other, it will have a different membership number.
