Would you go Nov 8-12 or Nov 26-30? The first on is Veteran's day and the other is Thanksgiving. Both have crowd days of 8,7,6 and the first having a 5. Cost is not an issue. The first one is my birthday and the second, we would get to see more Christmas decor. The past two years we went in June (including this year). CSR has availability both dates. Is it crazy to go Thanksgiving? Help me decide!! :)

I would go November 8-12 and catch the end of Food and Wine (ends November 10th).

We went last year for Thanksgiving. It was very crowded but not what I thought it would be like. As long as you have a plan you will be fine. Unfortunately last year had some colder days and nights. I personally would go the week before Thanksgiving if you are looking for lower crowds and Christmas decorations.

EasyWDW would dictate the days I go unless there is a special reason to go like food and wine or christmas party or something that makes me want to deal with larger crowds.

We have been the first week of June and the third week of June. Is Thanksgiving week more crowded? I would love to go the week before, but with two school age kids, I don't want to take them out the week before they are out for a Holiday. Make sense? My main question is should we wait and go when there are more decorations out or just go for my birthday and only see some decorations? December is not an option because my son is in a Boys Choir and sings every weekend that month.

He has Thanksgiving Day an 8 and when we were there last month, everyday was and 8 or 9. So it should be about the same crowd wise?

We changed our reservations that I inadvertently made over Thanksgiving to November 14 to 21 to avoid the bigger crowds. We're not American so we forgot about that time of the year. We have been to WDW before in early November and the Christmas decorations are already up.

The only reason I caught onto it being Thanksgiving is that I was trying to reserve a Fantasmic! dinner package but the times of the show weren't listed and the CM on the phone said they may have two shows per night during the Thanksgiving weekend.

I think both times will be crowded but you are used to it since u go in June. The earlier November date is Jersey week! Do u live in jersey? Might be hard to get a flight if u do. Otherwise I would say go this week cause it should be cheaper to fly and a lot easier to deal with the airports! 11/26 & 11/30 are the busiest travel days of the year flying could mean big delays!

Thanks! We drive so flights won't be an issue. I really think we may do Thanksgiving. Thanks for the replies!!

Perfect have a great trip!! We did Thanksgving before it's a beautiful time to visit just very crowded. But not hot like June which makes it more bearable!

I have never been during Thanksgiving, but I am planning a trip for next year. I am planning on leaving the week before Thanksgiving and staying until the day before Thanksgiving (11/18/15-11/25/15). I know it will be crowded, but will it be super crazy or am I leaving at a good time? I can't take my daughter out of school for an entire week anymore because she is now in middle school. We are use to going at low crowd times (if these even exist anymore) and I don't want to be caught up in chaos. I have had people say this week is not terrible until about the Wed before Thanksgiving. Let me know your thoughts on this week - expecially if you were use to low crowd times. We have never been in the summer, during spring break or during major holidays. We have always gone at the beginning of December, late September or January. Thanks for any help!

If you are planning to fly to and from WDW, then I would avoid traveling on Nov 30th. That is the busiest day of the year for air travel. We went to WDW last year, traveling on Nov 30th, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and it was a mess. The airport was very crowded that day. Sunday would be even worse. :scared1:

We drive. We are about 9 hours away. It's crazy expensive to fly from here and there's always a layover in ATL. It would take about 4 hours to fly so driving makes much more sense for us. I have Thanksgiving lunch booked and breakfast booked before our long drive home! I'm super excited!
