when would you go??

yes yes i know i am not long back but i blame you all

me and my mom are trying to decide when next to go. i like to look out for a good price on flights and when there are offers on the disneyland website so it helps to have an idea of when we want to go. we are trying to weigh up the pros and cons of a trip in september, october or november.

any input??

We went in Sept. last year and it was fantastic- Really really quiet, lovely weather, not busy at all compared to other times of the year!

thats exactly my argument exactly for sept. i loved the park being quiet my last trip. and i think one holiday in the cold per year is enough

I'd say September too

I've been watching prices too. OH said we can't afford it till 2010 but I'm hoping to sqeeze a wee trip in in September (shhhh )

September as its quieter and warmer. Also if you go at the end of September you will see some of the Halloween decorations too.

i really enjoyed halloween last year but as i have seen it already i wouldnt really mind missing it. after all the bad reviews of the christmas season last year im not in too much of a rush to see that either

This Halloween will be different tho...I'd def go for halloween if it was me but then it is my fav season,when did you go last year? we went the first week and its was really quiet more so than when we went in Feb.

How will it be different? its the same shows plus Mickey's Magcial party stuff which you can see all through the year

Bcoz its 2009 not 2008!!they always add little something different.

We won't find that out untill nearer the time though. I cant see much new being added this year due to MMP esp with all these cuts in place.

Either way I'd still prefer to go in Oct, as you get to see all the new Mickeys Magical Party plus the Halloween stuff... and the parks are just as busy and the weather is just as warm as going in the other times.

as soon as ash starts school i will have to do during school holidays so im trying to make the most of being able to go anytime while i still can lol

I'd go end September/beginning October. You said you're not fussed over doing Halloween again but you'll still see the start of the decorations plus you'll benefit from low crowds and hopefully nice weather.

We went in September for one day, we were able to ride every single ride we wanted to both parks. We even rode some rides 3 and 4 times. The only line was for Crush, which was about 15 minutes. The weather was great. Only downside to it was some restarants were closed and the park closed at 7. We were so exhausted by 7 we could not have made it much longer. Enjoy your trip, I will be there in Sept for a solo day trip from Paris. Can't wait!
