When would you go? June or July?

My family has the option of going to WDW from June 15-22 or July 5-12. Which would be better? In comparing the various crowd level sites (EasyWDW, UndercoverTourist & Touringplans) I get different answers, some drastic. EWDW & UT have June as 8's & 9's but TP's has it as anywhere from 5-8. July is all 8's on EWDW, 9's & 10's on UT and TP has it as 5's & 6's. I am going crazy!!! We've never gone this time of year so we don't know what to expect and knowing how crazy they always say the 4th is, I am nervous it would still be crazy the weekend after the 4th.

Thx,

I wouldn't pick either, but if I had no alternative I would select June. July is hotter, more humid and more crowded.

If it had to be either of those days I would go with June. Both times are going to be corded and hot but July will be hotter and with it being a holiday week a little more crowded I bet. I have been in June but never July

June. That's actually the week we went in 2012 and 6 days out of 7, it was below 85 degrees. Did hit 90 briefly that 7th day.

Granted, it could get hotter in June & often does. But, there's at least a shot at decent weather. No such shot exists in July IMO.

June. Weather is hot but still bearable for a day in the parks. I think July would be really hard to be in the parks with the heat, humidity, and crowds.

We have been there around both times and I didn't see much difference in crowd levels or heat/humidty. I'm in the south and it's about par for the course with small variables possible each year.

We love going to WDW for the 4th. Yes it's hot. Yes it's crowded. But if you're prepared and have a plan you can still do everything you want. My experience has been the days right after the 4th are slightly less crowded.

We'll be there this year form 6/29-7/7 :)

I agree. All our trips have been in June or July. I see little to no difference. I would consider that the time you are looking at in June may have Star Wars Weekends- that is the time of the last one this year. The time in July is right after the 4th so you may have a couple days of residual crowds from that. We have gone before on the 4th and MK is insane for the days right around it. Otherwise, most summer days are about the same- busy, hot, and humid!

We've also gone in both June and July and see very little difference. It will be hot and crowded. Maybe slightly less in June but still crowded. We were in MK last year on July 5th and it was the busiest we've ever seen it, but still doable if your expectations are reasonable. I would base the decision on what's available for booking during both times. It drives me crazy that all the crowd calendars are so different, which is why I stopped paying attention to them lol!
