When would you go - 2023

Hi all

I am in the midst of planning a trip for late next January to early Feb. Something around Jan 25 to Feb 4.

There is a chance we may need to change those dates (a happy reason and I hope it happens).

If we need to change our plans, would you rather go early January, something like the 4 to 14 ( which seems to be over marathon weekend), the week after - the 11 to 21 or over Ontario March Break - with a few extra days the week before. Something like the 8-18.

We have been twice in early Feb. Always had good weather; not rainy, not too hot and not too cold. And manageable crowds - although it doesn't seem like we can count on that anymore.

I'm torn. In theory, early January will be quieter than over March Break. But, more rides will be down and it will be colder. March will be busier but parks will have longer hours and more shows, etc. I'm really not sure which way is "best".

My kids should be able to stay late at least a few days. We have 6 day non-hopper passes. We will buy G+ and some ILL passes.

Any thoughts? Has anyone been there over March Break? Is it unbearable crowd wise? I know it will be more expensive. I know it's early. But my obsessive Disney brain needs something to think about!!

The first January week is usually busy with the Marathons and this year some school boards (at least in Ontario) have shifted their Christmas breaks to be from Dec.24 - Jan 8.

I honestly wouldn't go March Break unless it's your only option.

Jan 11 to 21 may not work either as it turns out. So either early Jan or March!

We usually go late January into early February, after the marathon weekend for lower crowds and to escape Canadian winter. The weather is usually fairly mild, but there always seems to be a ride or two under refurbishment (definitely Kali River Rapids and often Splash Mountain). Just keep in mind that there really isn't much for low crowds anymore, hopefully that changes for you and your trip! January/February this year were packed!
