I finally made up my mind and added the DDP this morning. When I compared it and oop, it makes more sense and cents to go with the ddp. It's basicaly like getting a free counter service a day. Plus, I like knowing it's all paid for and I don't have to worry about it ok, and cheap me would be more worried about the price of what I'm ordering if I'm actualy forking over the cash.
On the remodeling front....things have gone from bad to worse. We have black mold all over in the basement.....sooo, that means we get to take care of that too.
We were told that no one can be in the house for 24 hours after they spray...including the dogs. My first thought was, I am not canceling my trip...the kids can pitch a tent.
I don't think they'll start the process untill after we're home and then we'll just stay in a hotel for a day.
The kitchen, which should have been almost done, isn't.
They have all the sheet rock up and the first coat of "mud". Today that do the texturizing and then monday, cross my fingers, the paint will go on. then we have the tile, cabinets, a shelf.
I was told today that hopefully they'll be done by the time we get home.
I am sooo tired of living in this. We literaly have 2 functional rooms. My room and Bailie's...ooh and the bathroom. the living room has a path to the front door and the boys have a small path to their bed. Everything else is packed with all the kitchen and dinning room crap. I've never spent so much time in my bedroom before.
On the bright side...after all of this, my vacation is going to be that much better!! I can't wait to eat food that wasn't cooked in the microwave and not have to look at a mess.
Meeting up with Rosie, Cherie and Jordan is just icing on the cake....which I intend to devour.
